As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Canes and Scooters recognizes the level of poverty among seniors in the United States. Therefore, we provide financial assistance on an as-needed basis to seniors in dire need. Our Mission is to provide licensed in-home non-medical and medical nursing services for seniors who wish to age in place, avoid nursing homes and who need in-home care support.

Native Washingtonian with a Bachelor of Science degree in Gerontology with a Master of Management, University of Maryland, specializing in Healthcare Administration. Ms. Haynes has a background as a Legal Assistant with over 20 years working at high profile Washington Law Firms. Six years Claims Technical Expert at the Social Security Administration.
