Since the early 1900s, our beautiful property has been the gathering place for all occasions. For many years, families would come together to celebrate the holidays, anniversaries, birthdays and summer seasons while enjoying fellowship with one another.
A few years ago, Nicole Renee Shouse's niece and nephew were both planning their weddings when she realized that beautiful, affordable outdoor wedding venues were hard to find in the Perry County area - this led to the beginning stages of construction of The Perfect Place Wedding and Event Venue and the grand opening in the fall of 2016 in Bonnyman, KY.Partnered with Nicole are Tina Gordon and Cody Smith.

Our rustic barn features 2400 square feet of space to accommodate for your ceremony or reception! The front opening has a perfect view of the field, and makes the perfect place to enjoy your wedding day as you watch the evening sunlight come through the nearby trees. Nearby the barn is our checker dance floor and wall of candles.
Considered our most popular collection, we will host and fully decorate your wedding day! Along with our great southern hospitality and decorating services, you will be provided tables + seating for guests, access to the main house for 12 hours that includes a bridal suite + man cave, access to our property for 48 hours, and so much more!

We had such a wonderful experience with the Perfect Place. They have provided us with a Baby shower, house hold shower, wedding and soon to be another baby shower. Everything was perfect on every occasion. They make sure to include you in their decision making when it comes to everything. There are no surprises everything is planned out perfectly. Just knowing someone you can trust is in charge and you know they are putting their heart and soul into making everything perfect is such a relief especially on your wedding day. My daughter's wedding was everything and more than we could have wished

The perfect place wedding and event venue is hands down the best place to have the perfect wedding, and baby shower!! I couldn’t have had the perfect day without them! My wedding was outstanding!! Nobody could’ve pulled a better wedding off then Nicole & her girls! My baby shower was phenomenal!! I wouldn’t recommend anybody else but Nicole Shouse!! The perfect place is really the perfect place to have any event!! They know what their doing with everything they do! I’ve never seen anybody decorate the way they do! I 100% recommend them to everybody I know!
