Craig Stewart grew up in San Diego's East County, the hub of the off-road racing world. As son of legendary racer Ivan "Ironman" Stewart, he was always working in the garage on race cars. By the time he was 15, he was working for another legend in off-road, Johnny Johnson. There he learned to fabricate championship winning race trucks from the ground up.
Our waterjet uses a mixture of high pressure water and garnet abrasives. It can cut nearly any type of material, such as metal, wood, glass, and plastic up to 3" thick and within +/-.005" with 0 taper. Large scale projects are our specialty. We have a Flow Waterjet Cutting System with a 6'x12' table, which is one of the largest in San Diego.
Stewart Fabrication has experience in all types of custom metal fabrication including forming, cutting, bending, sanding, rolling, die cutting, and MIG and TIG welding.
