MHC Healthcare is the oldest community health center, providing continuous health care since its incorporation in 1957. We began by providing medical care to migratory farm workers and other locals in Marana. By 1964, we had the funds to build a clinic specifically for MHC Healthcare and doubled our staff.
We then established our Sliding Fee Scale, making it possible to deliver healthcare to a wider population, especially low income and medically underserved patients. In 1972, Marana was declared a Critical Health Manpower Shortage area and MHC signed an agreement with the National Health Services Corps to provide healthcare workers for our entire community.

Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) is Arizona's Medicaid agency that offers health care programs to serve Arizona residents. Individuals must meet certain income and other requirements to obtain services. Healthcare.gov is a web-based enrollment US government healthcare exchange created under the provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
MHC Healthcare offers outpatient therapy, case management, domestic violence therapy, trauma services, parenting classes, support and education groups, housing assistance, employment services, substance abuse therapy and a work adjustment program. Family, Children and Teens Providing children, teens, and families with behavioral health services to live full and rewarding lives.
We have providers that can care for your child at multiple locations, and a dedicated pediatric office, Oro Valley Pediatrics. At MHC Healthcare, our pediatric providers diagnose, evaluate, and treat health conditions at all stages of childhood from birth to 18 years of age. We offer sick and well-child visits, immunizations, asthma management, behavioral assessments, skin care treatment, and sports physicals.
MHC has pharmacies located within our clinics making it easy to pick up your prescriptions at the same time you receive your medical and dental care. Our licensed pharmacists are here to answer your questions and help with any issues. This “health center” is the WORST PLACE ON EARTH! DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THEM!
I called to make my first appointment first week of January, which was scheduled for January 31st. On Friday, January 28, with the weekend approaching, they call me to switch to televisit due to COVID. They state they will email me my new patient paperwork and a link to log in to visit with my doctor, Douglas Cook. My appointment is at 9 am. Here I am, 8:44, it’s my 4th call. They keep transferring me. THEYRE SO UNORGANIZED AND INCOMPETENT. I am just baffled. How does this doctor even work here??? I want

Took my wife in last year for a mammogram and everything went fine. I took her back the next day to see her NP Netherton and my wife was told to wait in the car because she had the sniffles. She never did see the NP.

0 stars insurance scam they harass me every time I go. last time I was there they denied my appointment and while I was there I saw mold in the bathroom and 2 cockroach’s while I was waiting in the waiting room for their average 2 hour wait. no one wears a mask and there service is terrible been going for 2 years and have not received any form of treatment or help. We had a less then stellar experience with the drive through booster clinic. I suggest going as early as possible, because towards the end of the clinic drive through (12 noon) they are very obviously done with people. I understand at the end of a shift being glad your done, but you should still treat others with a decent attitude, not like they are irritating you. For those of us that were on time for our appointments, I don't want to hear everyone complaining about late people.. Went to get checked for a lump in my arm pit. Carlisle checked and felt it as well as my swollen lymph nodes in my throat and groin. Said she would schedule a mammogram. I also asked for a factor five blood test as my mother and sister have it. Thinking it was scheduled when I checked out. Came back a month later to be told it was a well woman check. Carlisle’s first question to me was. Do you have any lumps? She never even scheduled my mammogram. Oh yes, I do remember you talking about a lump!! Took another month to schedule me in for mammogram and another for the biopsies 😳 needless to say

0 stars Yea this place has some of the worst care and service they misdiagnosed me multiple times and every time I go there the employees always harasses me and they referred me the same place 7 times after I told them they don’t do it anymore. I will never go back here again and advise you to do the same the doctor that’s been submitting my order for years harassed me as well as the techs in the lab at marana health center and it’s happened multiple times. This place should be closed down for malpractice, medical neglect, and medical harassment.
