Our family is visiting South Padre with our Pomeranian Teddy who started to have signs of discomfort on the road trip here late on a Saturday. We waited to get into the vet at Port Isabel animal clinic Monday morning. We did not have an appointment but the staffed saw us right as they opened. The staff is friendly professional and empathetic to our stress over having a sick pet. They diagnosed the problem quickly & prescribed meds to help our Teddy feel better and were very reasonably priced. I can’t express how wonderful this animal clinic was for our out of town pet panic!! Thank you to the

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness
I was on hold for over half an hour for a simple yes or no question. They consistently answer the phone to tell you to keep holding but are of no actual help. I've heard alot of bad things about this place and figured I would just call but just the customer service alone was enough for me to avoid this place.

Very pleasant staff. Friendly and professional.
I took my dog in for her yearly checkup for her heart worm and
flea protection. It was all done in a very timely fashion. All my questions were answered. The receptionist had rebate offers filled out for me to
file for products and all I Had to do was submit them to the companies.
What more could you ask for? Definitely recommend!

I have owned dogs all my life. It has been many, many years since I have been treated to a veterinarian office where the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I tried this clinic because I saw the great reviews. We drove 30 minutes to see if maybe this was the hometown vet experience we were hoping for. We were not disappointed. Thank you Port Isabel Animal Clinic for providing a much needed professional service with a friendly staff.
