Harassment prevention orders are governed by the Massachusetts harassment prevention law, M.G.L. c. 258E. Harassment Prevention Order offer protection against unwanted, harassing conduct. To successfully secure a Harassment Prevention Order, you will have to prove that you were in-fact harassed.
A harassment prevention order is available to individuals who do not have the necessary relationship required for an abuse prevention order and are requesting protection from someone who has committed 3 or more acts that were cruel and done intentionally to cause fear, intimidation, abuse or damage to property and did in fact cause fear, intimidation, abuse or damage to property.

OUI and or DUI are the same thing in Massachusetts. OUI (Operating Under the Influence and DUI (Driving Under the Influence). Where there is no distinction between OUI and DUI in Massachusetts, the penalties are the same and serious.

A Clerk Magistrate's Hearing Lawyer, also known as a Show Cause Hearing Lawyer, occurs when you have been accused of committing a misdemeanor crime, but have not been formally arrested yet. A felony is defined under Massachusetts law as a crime that is punishable by a state prison sentence, up to and including life imprisonment. Unlike a misdemeanor, felony crimes are usually of a more serious nature than misdemeanors. Aggravated Assault and Battery: When you try to or cause serious bodily harm or use a weapon; that's a felony crime.
