At Arkansas Eye Care Group, each member of our vision care team is selected by our Doctors based upon his or her experience, professional demeanor, and dedication to providing personalized care to our optometry patients. At Arkansas Eye Care Group, Dr. Shane Ford and our entire Conway optometry team are committed to providing advanced vision care in a professional and comfortable environment. As an optometrist in Conway, our primary eye care service includes a complete eye exam that analyzes eye health and vision function.
Dr. Ford graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Lyon College. Following that, he graduated Cum Laude in 2000 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Arkansas Optometric Association where he has served as a director and currently serves as president.

I’ve never met a medical office so money hungry before. Everyone was very professional and knowledgable. However, Dr. Brown tried to tell me astigmatism contacts are only supposed to be worn for 2 weeks before being thrown away. I’ve been wearing contacts for 10 years and had several different eye doctors and not a single one has said something similar. I’ve always been told I can wear them for a month or even longer if they’re still comfortable (with the same brand contacts too). He also said to me that I shouldn’t be using generic contact solution; something about it not working with

Arkansas EyeCare Group has always been my favorite doctors' appointment each year! The staff is undoubtedly the most caring I have ever witnessed in a doctor's office, and the doctors here are OUTSTANDING. Dr. Schwab is great and so is Dr. Ford! I haven't had a chance to meet any other ones yet, but I would in a heartbeat!
I wanted to recognize a young lady up front for helping me with my appointment from start to finish last week. Stephanie was so sweet and so kind and not only did she answer the phone (an actual human right from the start!!) so professionally, but she took the time to schedule

Saw Dr. Ford (was in past from this review) was rude. Has that mentality that you see in older white rich men, when he talks to you. IDK if he was in a mood that day but it was not welcomed. Staff wise they were nice, complaint there was I came in during what seemed like a non busy time, no one else in waiting room, very few cars in parking lot. Yet I still had to wait and hour past my appointment time to be seen?
