Dr. Weir and Dr. Bowen met through mutual acquaintances in 2017 and their families became fast friends. They live in the same neighborhood; their children go to school together and constantly want to get together for playdates. Over the last few years they felt called to join forces and start a fresh new practice with a focus on family values, patient-centered care, and cutting-edge medicine.
When we set out to design the office for our new medical dermatology practice, we asked the architect to come up with the most energy efficient building possible. We also requested that he incorporate our rural Nebraska roots into the design. The end result is a structure that borrows the designs and formal cues found on the family farm as well as in simple rural structures.
