The only assurance of eternal life with God is faith that trusts in Jesus Christ who died on the cross for you. Our congregation accepts and teaches the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in four phrases: Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Scripture Alone, Christ Alone.

At Grace, we love Jesus Christ, believe that Jesus alone gives forgiveness and eternal life and that earthly life can have real meaning, joy, and purpose in Him. We are very excited about the life journey we're taking together, and we would love for you to join us! Our worship service is a traditional Lutheran service.
While Grace is affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, we are here for anyone seeking to grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you want to learn more about Lutheran doctrine, that's an option but it's certainly not a requirement for attending. Because our worship follows a traditional Lutheran style it will likely seem rather formal.
Weddings at Grace Lutheran Church are set within the context of a larger ministry to families. The wedding ceremony is a worship service honoring the Triune God, and is an occasion to support the bridal couple with the power of God's Word and the prayers of the church. Couples wishing to be married at Grace are required to meet with the pastor for pre-marital counseling.
Pastor Dana Brooks has been the pastor of Grace Lutheran Church & Preschool since February of 2014. Janet and I are grateful for the opportunity to serve God here in Caldwell. We have an onsite preschool that is held in high regard in our and surrounding communities for its innovative curriculum. Our program features "process" learning, so children have a wide variety of experiences to help them learn readiness skills for success in school. We use child-centered activities to help all children grow physically, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
