I've gotten takeout or dined in at Muriales for my entire life (34 years). I've never had a bad experience here. The few takeout orders that were incorrect were remedied my a gift card and only ever happened when the pandemic started and carry out was chaos there, but this is a very unusual circumstance. They've added significant takeout staff so this is no longer an issue. They food is always hot, portions are generous, and service is great. I've dined in with parties of 2 to 16 and attended private functions on the banquet hall. You can't go wrong with anything on the

From out of town and out of state I took my daughter , granddaughters and their friends as a last minute dine out option. Finding out Muriales doesn't take reservations and told on the phone there wasn't a wait for a table for six of us we headed out. Soon arrival we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. After watching several couples being seated , and obvious regulars it turned into a 45 minute wait .
After being seated we were treated to several delicious appetizers . The server said because of the unexpected wait time ! It really surprised all of us and made the evening quite special

With family visiting from Ohio and Texas and looked this place up on Yelp on a Sunday early afternoon. Parking lot was almost full of local cars so I knew we were on the right track. I had the absolute best salad I have EVER eaten. Asparagus salad with shrimp. The shrimp were gigantic and the salad greens were tasty and fresh, no iceberg in sight! My hubby had the lasagna, which he loved. Atmosphere was very much like a museum with lots of local flavor added including memorabilia from Mary Lou Retton. What fun! Don't pass this up if you are having a hankering for Italian and near

I have to give muriale's four stars for the atmosphere and their amazing service. With that being said - I've found myself disappointed with their sauce - way too tomato pastey. Meat balls are like a meat loaf floating around in your pasta. I LOVE their salads. The home made dressing is light and tangy. I also like that they provide bread to the table.

I will start by saying if this place took reservations I would surely award a 5 star.

The place is neatly decorated and the staff was friendly in every area.

I really enjoyed the complimentary warm bread, the bruschetta was tasty, and the cheesy bread was good with a red sauce to dip. The salad was also nice with a touch of pepperonis.

The white wine by the glass was a perfect Riesling - not too sweet or bitter - generous pour.

The veal parmigiana was perfectly breaded and prepared. It was a lot so I got to take it home and have it the next day!

I also need to mention about how the Soda

What a beautiful establishment! Such wonderful service from the moment we walked in. Christina our server was a delightful kind young woman, at the top of her game.
The food was superb! The salad was so flavorful with pickled onion and little sweet peppers. Two kinds of olive. Salami, pepperoni and cheese. The house dressing is impeccable. All of the flavors blended beautifully. The aggressive, rich red sauce on the spaghetti was amazing and the hearty meat balls were like morsels of heaven with every bites. The fresh Italian bread complimented the meal perfectly!
I will definitely be eating

We found this place on our way to shenandoah National park and definitely loved it! It’s close to the road and we didn’t deviate at all. Foods were great! We loved eggplant parmesan and italian dressing! Place is very cozy and beautiful. It’s also spacious. Tase of italy is also great and enough for two people.

Got curbside today. Super friendly and helpful staff. Food still out if this world. Oh how I wish I could get here more often. Truly, I have to wonder if there is better Italian food anywhere in this country. Got lasagna, DP got eggplant. DP felt like the lasagna was more in a class of its own than the eggplant was, but I thought they both were phenomenal. Eggplant had both pesto and ricotta hiding under the mozzarella, which was a beautiful thing. I felt like the meat sauce and marinara were distinctly different (as opposed to just throwing meat in at the end), and I couldn't even pick which

I'm not sure if you associate WV with Italian food, BUT YOU SHOULD. It's a culinary destination for the cuisine (and I'm from the Bronx), and no place does it better than Muriale's. Wow this place was such a huge surprise in the best way possible. Best eggplant parm I have ever had, solid gnocci, and the world's dreamiest tiramisu outside of Italy. Husband loved his meatballs. This place is such a gem.

Stopped here while on my way to a game across WV. I have seen the sign for this place coming into to Fairmont before but never had a reason to stop. To my surprise the other guys in my party picked it bc it had outdoor dining.

This place is huge. As in 6 big rooms that can handle parties, groups, teams, etc. the walls are covered in family photos, pictures of the city, signed memorabilia, etc.

We sat out on the deck overlooking the Tygart River. Really a nice view and ordered drinks and I ordered the bruschetta. It was a mammoth portion so everyone got to try some. Really good so much that I

Today's meal brought to you by Muriale's in Fairmont, WV. It's called The taste of Italy. It has lasagna, rigatoni, ravioli, and one of their famous meatballs. It also comes with an excellent house salad and fresh baked bread.
There's so much to say about this meal that I don't know where to start. The salad had a few different types of olives, some roasted red peppers, pepperoni, pickled onion, and my favorite salad dressing, blue cheese.
The main dish had the thickest cheesiest lasagna I've ever had. The handmade ravioli had a perfect mixture of filling and noodle. The meatball, made with pork
