Pulled my car in to get a flat tire replaced. Without hesitation they refilled the flat, patched it, put it back on, filled every other tire and had me on the way without having to buy a replacement. Phenomenal customer service.

I have been in the City most of my life. A good mechanic is like having a good doctor. Well Hovson is the BEST. My Jag is a complex car and they have solved issues that three other well known automotive repair places were at a complete loss. The place appears small, but they have additional secure parking to accommodate all their clientele.

Vic (sp?) is indeed an honest man and I very much felt taken care of here. I had blown a tire so he replaced that but in examining the other tires he noticed a bubble in a separate one. So we replaced two tires at reasonable prices. Peace of mind is priceless, no? You will not be up-sold and you will be given honest work. What more do you need? I will definitely be coming back here for other services. Moved recently and glad that I’m just around the bend from this shop!

About a week ago, I broke down about a block away from Hovson. I had just purchased a pre owned Toyota and all of sudden the check engine light came on and the car started shaking. I turned off the car immediately and called Triple A. Their estimate was about an hour for a tow truck. I was hungry and I started walking up Sunset. I saw Hovson and they were still open. I saw a man outside moving cars and explained what had happened. He immediately dropped everything he was doing and asked how he can help. We walked down to the car and the radiator hose had blown. The Owner, Vic, is so incredible, honest, reliable, and sweet! He went above and beyond for my request when needing my car fixed at a reasonable time. I stumbled upon this place due to an emergency and I am so glad that this business did me good. So grateful for people like Vic and his whole team!! Thank you again Vic!!!

The man who was working on 8/16 around 1pm went out of his way to help me with my car when it broke down across the street. Highly recommended! Thank you!!

A while back I brought my Honda to this place for a tune up. They called me and said that my timing belt needed replacing ASAP and they told me they could do it.

Fast forward a year or two and my belt snaps on the 580 N in Berkeley. Destroyed most of my valves. The shop that fixed it for me found that they had left out a piece putting it back together.

I had a throttle actuator control system go bad on me Friday morning. Vic was a lifesaver, I drive for work and don't have a go to mechanic, until now. Vic stayed at the shop after hours so I may leave my vehicle Friday evening. By 1pm Saturday he had solved my initial problem and informed me i would need a new battery so the actuator replacement would work properly. Vic was also very upfront with prices and what would be needed so my vehicle would perform at its best. Wish I could give more stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love this place! The father and son who own this place are so nice! I had 3 nails in my rear run flat tire, they patched what they could and order a new run flat same day.. Reasonably priced I must say! Fast, friendly and affordable! This is your spot!! Thanks to the TWO VIC's!

I had flat tire late afternoon, when American tire and pep boys near by turn me down as customer, because they will be closing in 45 minutes, Hovson help me. They took time to look at my car and explain my options. Unfortunately, I could not fix the tires with them due to missing parts in my car. But, they helped me out so I can drive safely to next destination. I want to thank the owners and workers. I am glad to know they are near by where I work. I would take my car there any day. I am sharing my experience for excellent customer service .

I got a flat on Good Friday and needed it repaired on the Saturday. I called around to 10 places and they were booked solid. Fowler Tire was able to work on my tire between jobs, even though they didn't have an opening. Very good customer service!

I moved to the area about 8 years ago, stumbled across Hovson Tire and Auto, by going to Jiffy Lube, and being told the wait was a few hours. The Jiffy Lube rep stated if I did not want to wait that there was a "shop" up the street. I met Vic, who gave me better, more personal, and less expensive service, that I ever have had before, with other mechanics. They now service our family's 6 vehicles, including my '73 Mach 1. I will trust no-one else with our vehicles.

Such a great experience! Went in today with a slow leak in my tire, they figured out the issue right away and helped me feel a bit more safe for my upcoming road trip. They also helped with some body work on my car, so fast and fairly priced. THANK YOU! I'll definitely be coming back.

This review is long overdue but this place is amazing with 5 star customer service. I came in last minute with my tire going flat and in no time I was up and running. Customer service is the best and so is quality of work. Definitely worth coming back for any repairs. Thank you!

The over heating light came on. I stopped by certain places and they were expensive I called around and came across this amazing shop. I saved a ton of money and they were soooo nice, professional and sweet. The owner of the shop drove all the way to Venice to pick up the fan my car needed, because he didn't want me to wait for it for 3hrs. AMAZING!! You will love them.

Great customer service. I went to get a tire patched and they were pretty busy but the person in the office kept coming outside to let me know they'd help me next which felt nice as I said they were pretty busy but I was always acknowledged.
I had a check engine light on and they were nice enough to offer checking it for free! They told me what the issue was within a couple minutes.
I later called to refer my boyfriend and ask about a maintenance service. When he arrived the following day they referenced remembering me calling which felt as though they really care about their customers. The

So I needed the headlight on my Mini Cooper replaced. I called and was told to come in within 30 minutes.
I arrived and was seen by the mechanic ( pictured below) immediately. Thank you!

I was informed that my headlight was still in working condition. And the issue was resolved without charge.

I did however need a part that was ordered, and I will be picking it up on Tuesday.

I got a flat tire and brought it to Hovson to see if it could be fixed. The tire had a rip and could not be fixed (they directly showed me the issue), but Hovson gave me a great quote on a new tire and installation. They were honest about pricing and did not try to rip me off. They were so quick to help and installed my new tire the next day when it arrived. They have a great crew and really helped me out! I will definitely use their services again.

First time in LA, stopped for the night at a nearby airbnb. Next morning, I leave and no sooner had I started my journey, the eight rear tire goes flat on the rental. I needed to be down town soon as well. But as luck would again shine on me if not for the tire, I am in front of this diminutive tire and body shop. It is small, old cars are parked to the side, including an old Mach 1. I am just short of their drive way, I get out walk up to the first guy working and ask him if he has time to look at my rental car tire. He nods, gestures to bring it in. Amazing!! Got a flat tire driving to work. I decided to fix my spare during lunch and saw that they were super close. Drove down and called ahead of time to see if I needed to make an appointment to get my spare repaired. Not sure who I spoke to but assuming either of the Vics lol. He was super friendly so I drove in.
Super speedy service and he was very honest and did not try to rip me off. He said I needed an alignment and I was ready to leave my car and go back to work, but he was super honest in recommeding I wait for the rest of the tires to wear out which will probably be soon lol.
