Services
Nick and Tara received their Doctor of Chiropractic degrees from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2014. Our mission is to create a healthier community, which we believe starts with children: "It's easier to maintain a healthy body than to fix a broken one." Our chiropractors want their services to be affordable, and offer monthly payment plans.
Dr. Nick and Dr. Tara met while attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa and married shortly after graduation. A chiropractic approach to health has always been an important part of Dr. Nick's life. He has family members who are chiropractors, and he began receiving adjustments at a young age.
At Centra Family Chiropractic, we see chiropractic care as a drug-free approach to health care that helps the body function as it was designed to do. As Drs. Nick and Tara put it simply, A properly working nervous system is key to good health. Chiropractic adjustments remove any interference from the brain which may affect the healthy workings of the body.
A computerized, non-invasive & painless test consisting of thermal and surface electromyology (SEMG). The benefits of these scans are to detect and pinpoint abnormal function which cannot be seen on X-ray and are generally not felt in the form of pain until the damage is severe; Much like a heart attack.
One thing that may come to a surprise is that an allergic reaction to a certain "thing" (pollen, grass, peanuts etc.) is simply the bodies immune system responding to an environmental stressor. Your nervous system is the master system that orchestrates your immune system, glandular system, respiratory system and every other system that reacts inappropriately to an allergen.

I was having a lot of back pain, it was hurting all the time even just laying down. After going to Centra they helped me get to the point where I was pain free. They really try to work with you and get you on a plan that work best for your wants/needs. I'm still going there a year later to make sure im pain free whether it's my back, feet, arms, etc.

Nick and Tara are great at what they do!!!! I’ve been to several chiropractors in the past and none have taken care of me the way they do. From the start Nick had a plan to get me to not only my short term goals but help put my body in a position to reach long term goals as well. Their approach makes me feel like family.

Dr. Nick and Dr. Tara are both amazing. As a new chiropractic client, my anxiety and apprehension were eased with their vast knowledge and comprehensive evaluations. The first appointment alone gave me a wealth of information and they never hesitate to fully explain anything I may not understand or have questions about. Their staff is absolutely delightful; they’re always helping to fit me in with my crazy schedule. Since coming to Centra, I don’t crack my neck several times a day (I don’t feel the need to crack it at all) and they have alleviated the common aches I felt in my left shoulder

Dr. Nick is absolutely the best!! I started the journey to better health for my 9 year old son last November. He was having great difficulty with sleep, focus at school and was on sensory overload. He is now sleeping 9 hours a night, has excelled in basketball with better coordination and wrote a poem at school that will be published in a book. I cannot say enough regarding the personal attention, extra time for questions and explanations, and flexibility that we have experienced!

I have been to at least nine different chiropractors over the years and Nick and Tara are the best. They don't just rest on the knowledge they have, they are continually furthering their education and applying what they have learned to make their patients lives better. Nick has been very attentive and listens to how I am feeling , and he has been so dedicated to making me feel better it is always a great experience and I always feel better.
