Young's began modestly in 1979 founded by Robert (Bob) S. Young. Young, previously a car salesman, had never even been on a construction site until a friend offered him a side gig as a laborer for a plumbing and heating company. He excelled at the work and when a friend needed some excavating done, Young having zero experience offered to do the work on a sub-contractual basis if he just gave him the chance.
Young's is a woman-owned small business firm that provides a multitude of environmental and energy services to a variety of customers throughout the United States. On average over the last five years, Young's has safely and effectively responded to approximately 400 spills annually involving hazardous and non-hazardous material releases and completed well over 2,000 projects per year.
