Here at Janet's Daycare, we work hard to teach the children their preschool basics such as the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, animals, and manners including sharing, please and thank you and we work on our table manners at each mealtime.
We do activities throughout any given day, including age-appropriate art projects, age-appropriate learning workbooks, and name tracing or writing, coloring, play dough, dancing, singing, outside play, story-time, free play, and clean up time.My goal for children's learning is for them to become independent, self-confident, and enthusiastic.

Services
My name is Janet and I am a state licensed in-home childcare provider with over 18 years of experience. Outside of my professional experience with children, I also have my personal experience with my own FIVE children ranging from ages 13-33 years old. I have 6 beautiful grandchildren ranging in ages of 11 months to 12 years.
The provider retains the right to increase rates annually and parents will be notified no less than 30 days in advance for which the new rate will become effective. Overtime fees are $1 per minute. This fee will be imposed beginning 5 minutes prior to or 5 minutes later than the actual contracted time.

We were lucky enough to send our son to Janet’s for about a year before moving out of the area. It was his first daycare experience and Janet’s home was the perfect start, as it provided the comfort and familiarity of a home/family environment, while also providing a safe place for interaction with other children of varying ages and backgrounds and lots of learning opportunities. Janet really takes pride in being more like a preschool than a daycare and I couldn’t fully appreciate that until our son was in another daycare that didn’t provide the same level of education. We have taken our son to Janet’s Daycare for over a year and half now and truly to feel like it is a second home for our kiddo. He is always looking forward to be dropped off in the mornings, loves all his friends that he’s made here and is always excited to jabber about his day to us when we get home after pickup. Her home is always so clean, so organized and colorful. We’ve toured a few other home daycares before we found hers and Janet’s Daycare was by far the most organized and inviting. We always look forward to what her monthly themes are and all the fun crafts that she always has

We love Janet’s daycare! It can be very overwhelming leaving your child in someone else’s care but I heard so many great things about Janet & she makes you feel so comfortable and secure. You can tell Janet really loves what she does, she does so much for the kids (even has a music class for them twice a month!) I love that she keeps you posted on all the activities they do every day. Janet is also super clean and organized. My daughter talks about Janet and her friends all the time, you can tell she is very happy there and it only makes me appreciate Janet so much more.

My daughter has been going to Janet’s Daycare for 1 year. We are extremely pleased with her educational level, social skills, and overall care. We toured a lot of daycares before deciding on Janet’s Daycare. There was just no comparison to the level of professionalism we found in Janet. The facility is clean and follows all licensing guidelines. We love that she focuses not only on indoor traditional learning but outside play as well. We highly recommend Janet’s Daycare.

Our daughter has gone to Janet's since she was 1.5 years old, and she will be turning 5 and starting kindergarten this August. There is a lot of care & consideration put into each day at her home. This is not your typical in-home daycare. Janet incorporates learning for the kids, with monthly themes that include crafts and education. Ms T comes 2x a month for music & movement with the kids, where the kids get to interact and use different instruments. My daughter loves Miss Janet so much. I have to agree with the others that say Janet gives you the peace of mind when you leave your child with her. It's my child's first exposure to childcare outside of the home and I couldn't have picked a better person to trust. She's open and honest about your child and works with you to make sure every day is a success.

I have two children and we have been going to Janet's daycare for 3 years now and could not be happier. My daughter is now five years old and is in TK. My son is two years old and still attends Janet's daycare. He only goes to Janet's daycare 3 days a week and we have never had a problem with Janet not being able to provide care. She has always been reliable and available.

As a first time mom, letting anyone new watch your child is a terrifying and stressful thing that I think most parents go through. With lots of research, I finally found Janet, who actually used to watch my gfs daughter, who in turn, I received amazing feedback from. We appreciate how much care goes into watching our daughter. This in-home daycare is treated more like a preschool. My daughter learns so much and definitely enjoys her time. Janet is awesome with sending pics of our littles throughout the day and always leaves a note with sign out about what the kids did and learned that day. I feel

My anxiety of being a first time mom having someone other than family watch my 2 year old daughter has completely been vanished thanks to Janet! My daughter cannot wait for me to leave :) Janet's house is colorful, well organized, and warm. Gotta say, we love Janet's Daycare. My son has been with Janet for about a year now and absolutely loves it here. He gets excited when I pull up and talks about Janet and how exciting he is to see her and the friends he's made here. Janet's home is clean, bright and inviting.
