Our company was established in 1937. At Rex Industries, Inc., we have a long, proud history of building positive customer relationships by delivering quality fabrication on time and at competitive prices. Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, Rex Industries has been providing quality metal fabrications and weldments for Energy, Mining, Power and custom projects to the Intermountain region for over 70 years.
At Rex Industries we offer sheet metal braking services to our customers since 1937. During our sheet metal braking process we use an open-frame single action press to bend, blank, corrugate, curl, notch, perforate, pierce, or punch sheet metal or plate. We operate three CNC press brakes with a maximum capacity of 350 tons able to break 16' of 1 mild steel plate.
We are currently using an Peddinghaus CNC punch presses that is interfaced to the above mentioned CAD/CAM system. It is a Peddinghaus CNC Punch/Plasma which has a tool turret to punch holes, slots, etc. It can punch holes from " - 1 ". It also has a cutting head which can cut 3/16" - 1" plate sheet in sizes of up to 60" wide.
Rex Industries provides custom steel rolling services for both large and small projects. We are able to roll virtually any steel or alloy mix and perform plate, structural, tubing, and pipe rolling. Rex Industries guarantees the quality and workmanship of all our products to meet your specifications.
Our welding staff handles a diverse mix of steel fabrication projects across industries in the Intermountain region. Our capabilities include MIG, TIG, and stick welding. We have the ability to work with a diverse variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and cast iron.
