Loess Hills Environmental
Some clients are looking for a class to close a training gap, others need support to manage a portfolio of former release sites. Our mission is to help you clarify the need and then meet it promptly and effectively. Our goal is to be your first call or email when seeking site investigation or EHS services in Iowa and Nebraska.

If it turns out we are not the expert you need, we will work to get you connected with the right organization. Contact us today to get started. I started Loess Hills Environmental because environmental, health, and safety services are my passion. I love hearing experienced workers tell me they learned something new in our classes and I can't wait to investigate new sites.
Services
ASTM E1527-compliant environmental site assessments are a must for those looking to protect commercial real estate investments. In addition to helping meet the U.S. EPA requirements for "all appropriate inquiry" with regard to CERCLA liability, Phase I ESAs can identify environmental conditions or property use history that may significantly impact development plans.
There are two types of respirator fit tests - quantitative and qualitative. Either type may be approved under appropriate conditions and some organizations in high risk settings will perform both. Quantitative fit testing eliminates the subjectivity qualitative fit testing introduces. No worries about who can smell what - you get a printed report telling you how well the mask fits.
Timely, focused soil and groundwater sampling at a site impacted by petroleum or hazardous materials is critical to making good risk decisions for the property. Where you put holes in the ground matters, and if your initial plan doesn't take into account site specific history and geology then you may find yourself paying to have the job done twice.
It's a busy time for industry environmental professionals and hiring staff for a special project or busy period may not be in the budget. Loess Hills Environmental can augment your team or provide much-needed local oversight on a project for a fraction of what hiring internally would cost. Bring us in to manage a project or portfolio so you can focus on putting out all those other fires.
Online classes are great time savers, but some training should (or must) be done in person. Our blended learning options allow your staff to benefit from both. Find or schedule OSHA-compliant classes in first aid, CPR, hazardous materials awareness, respiratory protection, and more. Not seeing what you're looking for?

I recently took the CPR/First Aid training as such is required per my job role. I have been through variations of this type of content numerous times over the years but this was by far my best experience! Korey was exceptional in his approach to the information, integrating his personal experience well. I retained alot, very informative course! Well done.

Great CPR first aid class! Korey has first responder experience in the military and as a civilian EMT. Couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable instructor. He is personable and makes the class fun. My husband and I were especially interested in infant CPR. He answered all of our questions. We left that class feeling fully prepared to administer aid until the first responders arrive.

Korey provided my CPR/First Aid training I needed for my state registration as a daycare provider in Logan Iowa. He was fast to respond and got me in for training in days. Even though I had this training several times before I feel I really came out of training with Korey with a much better comfort level and understanding. I highly suggest him for any service. Very professional and prompt.
