St Francis Wildlife
At SFW, we are preparing for our busiest season - spring. Soon, our hospital will be filled with animals most of which will be young and orphaned. Our expert staff and volunteers will care for them around the clock and to do so - WE NEED YOUR HELP. Fortunately, a generous donor has stepped forward with a challenge to the entire community.

That means your donation of $50 becomes $100, $200 becomes $400 and so on up to $10,000. Donations can be made through PayPal on our website, by check directly to our mailbox PO Box 38160, Tallahassee Fl 32315, at the Community Thrift Market, 1211 North Monroe St., Tallahassee or by check directly to SFW.
Services
Wildlife rehabilitation is the process of rescuing, raising, treating, and arranging veterinary medical care for orphaned, sick, displaced or injured wild animals with the goal of releasing them back to their natural habitats. At St. Francis Wildlife each animal is examined, diagnosed, and treated through an individually tailored program of veterinary care, feeding, medicating, physical therapy, exercising, and pre-release conditioning.
St. Francis Wildlife is thankful for any and all donations. Please take a moment to review our complete wish list. Supporters receive quarterly newsletters, information about wildlife events, and the satisfaction of helping wild animals in distress due to human activities. All donations are tax-deductible.
Call us at (850) 627-4151 when you are on your way (cell service is spotty at SFW); give us your phone number, name, animal information, and rescue location so it can be returned, if possible. Place the box in one of the cages on our covered porch, and return to your vehicle. A staff member will come outside to pick up the animal.
Outreach education programs feature live wildlife ambassadors from the St. Francis Wildlife rehabilitation center. Non-releasable, native birds of prey and reptiles help explain the unique adaptations that enable their species to survive, the challenges they face, and what we can do to help them. What we understand, appreciate and love, we will protect.
We are open seven days a week, from 8:30 am to 5 pm, to admit orphaned, injured and sick wild animals. NOTE: This vet does not accept these rabies vector mammals--raccoons, foxes, bats, and skunks. 1881-B North Martin Luther King Blvd. Can I visit St. Francis Wildlife? Our wildlife hospital is not open to the public.
