Mellennia TaeKwonDo teaches both the Chang Hon and Kukkiwon styles. Our goal is to offer our members certification in both styles and organizations. This also helps those who are interested in competition to become better skilled martial arts practitioners. Mellennia TaeKwonDo embraces the family atmosphere and trains our members as a family.

Mellennia Tae Kwon Do Academy believes that we can inspire change in our community by helping its members achieve physical well-being, increase confidence, and lead a more disciplined life. Operating under the five tenets of Tae Kwon Do; Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit, we develop and encourage students' personal growth through the martial art known as Tae Kwon Do.
A world certified Master Instructor in ITF, WT, Moo Duk Kwan and the United TaeKwonDo Alliance. Master Nixon is a avid trainer and dedicated to the work of Mellennia TaeKwonDo. Master Nixon travels to South Korea regularly to continue his training with senior masters. Master Nixon is the main instructor and founder of the Mellennia TaeKwonDo schools as well as the International Martial Arts Group.
Chon-chi is the first ITF/Chang Hon-style color belt teul (form). Chon-chi has 19 movements diagrammed as a cross (or plus sign). Literally, Chon-chi translates as "heaven - light" which is interpreted as the creation of the world. It is therefore the initial pattern performed by an ITF beginner during their entrance into the world of Taekwon-Do.
