Beauty Redefined lost a good client because of their own ineptitude and dishonest and disrespectful behavior. I paid for a series of laser treatment, and for the second treatment, I wanted to add an "area." I was told an extra 1/2 hour would be needed when I scheduled the second treatment (at the end of the first treatment, and in person at the desk), I was scheduled for the full 1.5 hours needed for the original area, plus one extra area. When they called to confirm the appointment, they "knew nothing of the extra area" and "had to move my appointment because another client had just scheduled

I had one skin resurfacing procedure done here. Never again. My face had streaks across it, I broke out pretty badly afterward and saw zero positive results. The cost of the procedure was higher than elsewhere and the time it took to do it was a fraction of other med-spas. Will not be returning. Looked horrible afterward and wasted my time and money.

The staff at Beauty Redefined are experts in their field. I have been to many beauty institutions, including California Skin Institute (CSI) across the street, and I have received better results for the same treatments at a fraction of the cost at Beauty Redefined. Their staff is full of knowledgeable, kind and helpful people. I truly feel they are most interested in providing me with the right treatments for my skin type and age. I have to say this is the best Drs. office I've been to for Botox and fillers. I've been using these products for the last 20 years and started with Dawn when she first opened the office. Laurie does them now and I cannot be happier. She uses just the right amount of product to achieve a natural look and not over done. Anybody considering injections should check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

I have been seeing Laurie for a few treatments now and am so so happy!! She is gentle, takes her time and gives great recommendations!! I have left bruised from other procedures and not once have I had pain or bruising after seeing her. I am so pleased with the work she has done and feel so confident when I leave! Hi i'm not one to do this, but i am super disappointed with my lips. I got the juvederm plus, which i did get a deal and i'm grateful for but the outcome was not what i wanted at all. I've previously had them done, which was well over a year ago. I had a lot of product left in the middle but none on the sides of my top lip, and that's my main insecurity with it, cause it just disappears when i'm not smiling. I moved to San Jose two years ago and by mere chance discovered Beauty Refined. At the time, I wanted to get a treatment called Micro-needling done (for my acne scars) and so I went on a hunt for a local spot that provided it.
A little internet search and BINGO...found this gem! I called and booked a consultation, which they fit me in surprisingly fast (some places don't have enough practioners and it can take WEEKS!) and over the phone the receptionist Lita were super sweet & friendly! A footnote to my prior review: when I had my "Botox" here I specifically told the practitioner I wanted REAL Botox and not Dysport. (Dysport & Xeomin are cheaper than Botox but neither give good or lasting results in my opinion). The practitioner confirmed I was getting real Botox, however she did not draw up the syringe in front of me.... she appeared with the syringe already loaded so I had no way of knowing what bottle she drew it from.
I am a practitioner myself and know what a Botox bottle looks like.

STAY AWAY!
Wow. Poorly trained staff, poor customer service. There are hundreds of Med Spas in South Bay. Stay away from this one.
I had a laser hair removal treatment (taking advantage of their 50% off promo offer), and after 4 days, the hair returned. It was an hour appointment, but the actual procedure only lasted 20 minutes. The technician turned their new 'blue" laser as high as it would go at the start, which burned my shoulders. I complained, and she later turned it down. But not after causing significant pain. No long-term burns though. They seemed rushed that day.

I hate to post bad reviews but when I cannot get anything resolved by calling on the phone I feel like there is no other option. I feel extremely disrespected, I booked an appointment and forgot all about it, I was immediately billed $50.00 on a credit card that I did not authorize. I was not asked for a credit card at the time I booked the appointment nor was I told I would be charged a fee. The fact that they are picking a credit card out of a hat and charging without any authorization is discomforting. Dawn and staff at Beauty Redefined are incredible. I have been going now for procedures on and off for about 3 years. She puts you at ease, makes the time so fun, and you can trust her completely. She has a wonderful way of making you feel at home and never has there been a time where I thought that the procedure was anything less than perfect. I have gotten so many complements about my age vs the age I look.
