Healthy teeth and gums do so much more than give you a beautiful smile. Countless studies conducted over the past several years have shown that good oral health is a vital and integral part of a person's overall health. In fact, gum disease has been linked to much more serious conditions, such as heart disease and diabetes.
Most of us are familiar with dental fillings. In fact, getting a filling is one of the most common procedures performed in most dental offices. For many years, the most common material used in fillings was silver amalgam. Although that material is still available in many dental offices, and is in fact quite durable, there are other options available to modern-day dental patients.
When the pulp of a tooth becomes infected, special care and treatment is required to remove the pulp and protect the tooth from becoming infected in the future. This is referred to as endodontic treatment, and is a specialty area of dentistry that not all dental practices provide. This is why we are so pleased to offer these services to our Monroe, LA, area patients.
In most circumstances, the vast majority of dentists would agree that it's always preferable to save a natural tooth whenever possible. But sometimes, extractions are necessary - such as in patients who have impacted wisdom teeth, for instance. At Apple Dental, Drs. The staff got me in to see the dentist (Dr. Haynes) within one day. I had transferred recently from out of state and needed an assessment of an issue I was having with a root canal from a previous provider in another state. They were very friendly, professional and helpful, especially for being the holiday season and end of the year when things get busy. Great dental team. I would highly recommend them and in fact have already scheduled my first annual check up with them.

Excellent experience!! I was in the area visiting for Christmas and had a crown come loose. I called Apple Dentistry the morning they opened after the holiday and was given an appointment that morning. I was seen almost immediately after arriving and was treated as if I were a valued patient. The crown was re-cemented and I was quickly on my way. The staff and Dr Kevin Haynes were personable and professional. If I lived in the area, I would definitely use them as my regular dentist.

I had a dental emergency Friday and was able to be seen first thing Saturday morning. The front office staff were very kind and friendly. The nurse was efficient, knowledgeable, tender, and compassionate. Dr. Sanderson was very kind, gentle, and patient. It turned out I had more than one issue and he attended each with care and total attention.

Staff that I encountered were professional and most importantly friendly. I called and indicated if possible I needed to come in same day. I told the young lady on phone my situation was told to hold on a second. She returned and said that they could do it she proceeded to get my info then told me to come on in and she would be clearing my insurance I knew at this time I called the right dental office. I would like to thank Dr. Matt Sanderson and his assistant for the professional and again most important friendly experience while in their care.

My son was super apprehensive about the dentist and the dental hygienist and dentist made it such a pleasant… experience. The first time going he was terrified and they did not push him. This was his second visit and because they were so kind the first time he allowed them to clean his teeth and check them. They were so very patient and kind and it was an all together great experience. The views were amazing too!

It's was the most amazing experience I've ever had. The way she worked that tool in my mouth was to die for. If I could say one word to describe what was going on in my mouth it would be orgasmic. The sheer pleasure that it brought me was disturbing to some but rejuvenating for me. Plus she wasn't afraid to stick around after the fact and talk instead of running out while I wasn't looking like so many in the past. All in all thank you apple dental I will be back on multiple occasions.
