The Spanish philosopher Ortega y Gasset believed that a generation lasts about eight years. For most of us this is is a good time frame to look at the past, reflect upon our lives and build upon these experiences as we move forward. I am writing this in 2017 and looking at what this generation might bring.

Dr. Larrabee has been most recognized for his surgical skills and innovative techniques. His three surgical books for surgeons have been widely used and are currently going into new and updated editions. Surgical Anatomy of the Face describes the scientific basis for much of his aging face and rhinoplasty surgery.
Humans have the most complex array of facial musculature in all the animal kingdom, and correspondingly the most elaborate and subtle mechanisms for controlling those muscles. Facial expression has evolved as one of our most important social skills, and our ability to both recognize and communicate our feelings through often tiny facial movements is unparalleled, and is of enormous, irreplaceable value in strengthening our social bonds.
Dr. Larrabee believes training the next generation is a core mission of our Center. The obligation to teach those who will care for patients in the future has been recognized since Hippocrates. Dr. Larrabee directs the University of Washington Fellowship in facial plastic surgery.
The fellows have already completed their residency training and work as junior faculty and teachers at Harborview Medical Center, Children's Hospital, the UW Medical Center, the VA Hospital and the Larrabee Center.We have one of the most competitive fellowships in the country and are proud of our graduates who have gone on to great careers in academia, the military, and private practice.

I just completed my PRP treatment for hair loss at the Larrabee Center. This experience was far better compared to my first 2 treatments at a different hair restoration facility. There was little discomfort compared and he was able to use more PRP in order to cover all of my areas of need. On top of the great experience, I also wasn't "sold" anything extra that I didn't need.

She is a perfectionist (Master Esthetician) and will continue to work with you until she is satisfied that she has achieved the best outcome. There is no additional charge for follow up visits if needed. No nickel and diming you here. Dr. Larrabee performed a rhino-septoplasty on me and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. It was a very complicated surgery and I am so thankful I trusted my face in his skilled hands. My request was to fix my deviated septum so that I could breathe better, remove the bump on my nose, slightly lift the tip of my nose, as well as minimize the size of the bulb of my nose. This was no easy feat!

The whole staff at Larrabee Center (I have been frequently to the aesthetics center) is professional, light-hearted, welcoming and flexible. Lisa is an artist with injectables, and incredibly easy to talk to about your concerns. I had a great experience with mole removal from Dr. Ridgway. The staff at the office is courteous and kind and Dr. Ridgway is very thorough and incredibly skilled. I didn't ever really consider removal because I was scared of the procedure. He came very highly recommended by a friend and I scheduled a consultation. I've been going to Larrabee for laser hair removal for two months so far. Lauren is the most professional laser technical I have ever worked with. The fact that I have had to use more than one is a testament to the poor service I've had in the past with laser treatments that have cost me double what Larrabee's rates are for not only inferior treatment but also dangerous treatment that left me with scarring and continued hair growth.
