Fresh Chorizo with Spiced Cottage Potatoes, PepperJack, Green Onions and Egg rolled into a wrap. Monty Cristo- sugared brioche rolls are filled with Eileen's signature chicken salad, ham, Swiss and raspberry jam. The Irish- Sliced Brisket, horseradish sauce, coleslaw tossed in Eileen's House Vinaigrette, swiss.
At Eileen's Bakery & Cafe all pastries are made daily on premise with the freshest ingredients. Our English Muffins, Croissants & Puff Pastry are mixed, rolled, assembled & baked on premise before dawn. Platters are available. Our breakfast sandwiches are made fresh every morning at the crack of dawn.
Eileen's offers ON-PREMISE catering that is designed for small weddings, rehearsal dinners, receptions, private parties, business events, etc. We have a beautiful gardened patio in addition to our main dining area. First time here I had heard they had pretty good food. While this was true the baked items I got were good they did not make up for the customer service or lack thereof. The lady at the counter made it seem like my presence was an inconvenience. I told her I had never been there before. I don't expect someone to roll the carpet out for me but in the very least explain your menu rather than having me stand there in awkward silence figuring it out. Then when I did order make it seem like I was bothering them by even asking for something. I was considering ordering a sandwich too but definitely rethought

I’ve been coming here for 2 years now and it’s been my favorite place to get a quick bite to eat in the morning. Recently however, it has been a coin flip. There seems to be a new employee, who was working this morning(Jan 13th) who doesn’t provide the best service. Her communication is lackluster, she lacks urgency and she doesn’t make the coffee the way it was traditionally made with the previous employees. I have had multiple experiences with the same employee and it has made me reluctant to visit.

My family and I have been coming here for years. We love the pastries and breakfast wraps. The prices are really good -my family of 4 can eat breakfast for around 20 bucks - and the service is usually fast and friendly, the only negatives are:
1. The sandwiches and wraps are fresh, but pre-prepared, and most stuff is reheated in microwaves. It's pretty common to get something that isn't warmed all the way through. I'm not super picky so it doesn't deter me from eating it, but it's definitely not ideal.
2. If you're enjoying large meals and are a meat eater, like my husband, you probably won't

We had a wonderful lunch in this quaint old church that's been converted into a bakery and deli. Specialty breads, sandwiches, and delectable salads are the order of the day. Pastries! Oh the pastries! I chose a shortbread cookie for dessert after enjoying a chicken salad and lettuce sandwich in a crusty bread with a cucumber salad on the side. GO!! You won't be sorry!

While visiting a friend in Fredericksburg, he showed me around downtown. We stopped at Eileen's. Wow! It's definitely worth a visit. They have ready made meals and warm them up upon order. Reminds me of a place I liked in Texas. It was after noon but I ordered a souffle (described to me by comparison to a twice baked potato, except with egg). It had cheese and bacon toppings. Very filling! I also ordered a black coffee and two Russian tea cookies (basically a large wedding cookie) all for about $10. Great value.
