There are two types of recyclable cardboard, corrugated and paperboard. Corrugated is usually brown, double-layered, and a heavier weight cardboard; it is, typically, used for shipping and packaging. Paperboard is thinner and, normally, contains a single layer of cardboard; it is often used for cereal boxes, soda cartons, cups, plates, and gift boxes.

Such great customer service—We missed the post about Shaw picking up trash a day early due to the holiday, when we saw the truck pass by our house this morning we panicked since we already had a full barrel (our son’s birthday and Christmas in the same week will do that) and we hadn’t put the bin out. I called them and they sent the truck back around for us- thank you so much!

I called with a concern this morning about drivers missing my trash on Joyce Street. The staff member answering my call listened attentively, asked specific questions and assured me that someone would be back to check. Within the hour my trash had been picked up. Very reliable company that wants to keep its customers happy! Thank you so much for your attention to this matter.
