If you can afford to pay your electricity bill you can afford to go solar. All the solar programs available offer $0-down financing, both for ownership and leasing programs. There are also financing programs available that are not dependent on having a good credit score.
The most significant incentive currently available is the 30 percent federal investment tax credit (ITC), which allows you to deduct 30 percent of the overall cost of your system from your taxes.This incentive will be available in some form through 2021. Certain municipalities and utility companies also offer additional rebates and incentives.

With a solar PPA you agree to have a solar system installed on your roof at no cost to you, and to purchase the power your system generates over 20 years at a discounted, pre-determined rate. We own the solar panels not the homeowner, so instead of paying for the system, you pay a monthly fee for the energy your system produces.
Property owners will see a new line item referencing the PACE loan on their property tax bill. Finance payments will be due in accordance with their regional property tax regulations, and may be paid annually, semi-annually, or monthly with and impound account, depending on how the property owner pays their property taxes currently.

My husband and I made our first inquiry with a different company with which we felt very pressured and rushed to make a decision that turned out to be much more costly than Solaris Solar. Our second inquiry through Costco was the same experience. We found Solaris Solar through a simple Google search and were pleasantly surprised to find a great company with an honest owner named Andrew. Andrew went above and beyond to make the entire experience extremely easy for us. Not being tech savvy, when ever we came across an obstacle Andrew helped us with no hesitation, down to even scanning documents.

I was referred to Solaris Solar by a trusted friend with raving reviews, which produced high expectations on my end, and I was not disappointed! I was not sure if I was in their service location due to the distance, but the owner himself travelled to Tracy to meet with us. I was impressed with the thorough description of what to expect during and post solar installation. The whole process was made easy from beginning to end.
