I had the misfortune of working with attorney Dori-Ellen Feltman and the motions done with her took several status conference visits at Stamford Courthouse with Dori-Ellen happily foregoing our status conference to come back again to continue to ring the cash register and then be dismissed. One motion to be referred to Family Relations was granted and then dismissed in judge's chambers. After firing her in the halls of Stamford Courthouse when she showed up empty handed, I had better results pro se.

BE DISCERNING AND CHECK PRIOR CASES. Dori Ellen submitted several motions in Family Court for me--NONE EVER HEARD/IMMEDIATELY DISMISSED. She seems to lack knowledge or interest in scheduling a hearing, electing to keep our case rolling along at Monday roll calls to ring the cash register. She would ask me to watch her files while she went out into the courthouse hall & gave up our hearing time by agreement with other attorney(s) on case. Monday status calls cost thousands. Check her cases and how long they were in course before you write a check. My case was settled when I fired this attorney.
