I come from a line of creatives. My father was a photographer. His brother, my uncle, was an artist and a photographer. My grandfather was a photo engraver. I couldn't ignore the same calling within myself. My father is the driving force behind my love for photography. He worked in advertising as a commercial photographer in Chicago and lost his battle with lung cancer when I was around seven years old.

I was approached to participate in a reality show at a big cat sanctuary in the middle-of-nowhere Mexico for Animal Planet.

I volunteer photographing rescued farm animals looking for their forever homes. Many of these animals come from abusive situations or kill pens destined for slaughter. Please consider donating to this little farm that works tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate these amazing animals.

It is much harder to place these animals than cats or dogs, and the longer it takes to secure an adoption means further costly care to house the animal and the inability to rescue more in need.
