Services
Founded in1992 by goldsmith Alan Yegge, we have served central Iowa's jewelry design and repair needs for over 26 years. Owner and master goldsmith Alan Yegge studied watch & clock making and goldsmithing at Gem City College, in Quincy, IL, and graduated in 1982. From there he spent several years working as a bench jeweler for wholesale and retail jewelers in the Des Moines area.
We have recently closed our retail location and are operating out of our home studio until we find a new location. Please send us an email or give us a call and we can schedule a time to meet and go over your repair or custom design needs. Very pleased! I recently took my engagement ring to be repaired here. It is an antique ring and the stone had fallen out and some of the tiny filigree had been damaged. When I opened to box to see my repaired ring I gasped a little - it was so beautifully restored and just as I remembered when I first saw it. Thank you Alan at Artisans for doing such a great job.
