We are located in the Medical Arts Complex & Rehab Center on 9th Avenue North in St. Petersburg, Florida just off the Southbound Interstate 275 Exit 23B. We're a group of passionate professionals taking care of all of your Dermatological needs. Dr. Sims was Chief Resident at Wayne State University's Department of Dermatology and Syphilology from 1986 to 1987. In 2001, She was appointed Clinical Instructor in Dermatology at Wayne State School of Medicine.

I went to Divine Dermatology to have a minor surgical procedure, and I would rate it six out of five stars. No, that is not a typo. Five out of five stars is not enough. Dr. Sims was very professional and in my opinion did a great job, and her prep staff for before the procedure knew exactly what they were doing. During the surgical procedure Dr. Sims was very warm and reassuring, and while I am not a doctor I was very impressed by the sutures she used to close up at the end of the procedure. I think I am probably going to have little or no scar (I have had surgeries before). After the procedure

I recently visited to have skin tags removed. The fees are affordable. Dr. Sims and the Assisting professional were friendly, with great bedside manner, knowledgeable and timely during my visit.. I have visited derms with no knowledge of treating melanated skin, which I believe they should inform you of or seek help from a colleague who knows, but this is not an issue at Divine Dermatology. Excellent service from front greeting, to procedure, to check out & billing staff. Highly recommended!

Aptly named because my visit with Dr. Sims-Robertson was absolutely divine! The entire staff communicated extremely well, ensured I knew the whole process and felt comfortable from beginning to end and ensured I was thoroughly educated before I left. Dr. Sims-Robertson was very thorough and just lovely all around. Absolutely recommend this practice!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Sims last week and left feeling so grateful that I found her. She and her staff are very professional, she listens to you and gives direct feedback. I've known about Divine Dermatology now for over 3yrs and Dr Sims is the absolute best! Everything from checking in to tableside manner is just great, I have never felt more comfortable and at ease in a Dr's office before. Doctor Simms is kind and very knowledgeable about dermatology. She treats my entire family we all have different skin issues that she has been able to treat and heal. Also explain and help us take care of our skin from home. The Service and care is exceptional. The staff is extremely helpful and go above and beyond to meet my families needs. I logged on to leave a review for this place -- and was absolutely shocked by the other reviews. I'm glad I didn't read them before, because I never would've come here.
Luckily, I didn't, because I love this place! The staff is SO friendly, and I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for my appointment. (I get early morning appointments, which might be why).
Since going to them, my acne's cleared up a TON, and I've also had several abnormal moles removed. Strongly recommend them :)

I was so disgusted at the way we were treated at this office. I called and asked them if they specifically took my insurance, as I usually have trouble with my insurance and she said yes. I even asked if she was sure because this was the 5th office I'd called that day and I urgently needed an appt. I was booking in advance as we were out of town and needed to see someone as soon as we got back. When we arrived to the appointment, first thing the woman tells me is: "oh we don't take this insurance".

After having to cancel my annual skin cancer screening appointment, I receive a 50 dollar bill as a no show SIX months later. Now I am searching through email and phone records to prove that I did in fact cancel before the 24 hour time period OR they are threatening to send this to collections. I was a loyal client for years and referred many. Something is very very wrong in this office with the cut throat way they do business. They must really need 50 dollars.
