Services
Clarke County Animal Hospital offers affordable indoor, climate-controlled boarding facilities to pet owners in the communities of Oak Grove, Jackson, and Thomasville, Alabama. When you have to be away from home and need someone to look after your beloved pet, come to Clarke County Animal Hospital where there are people you know and trust.
One of the most neglected aspects of pet health is dental care. A fact that you may find surprising is that regular dental screenings and oral hygiene can actually add years to the life of your pet. As with people, oral disease in pets begins with bacteria in the mouth that harden and form plaque that adhere to teeth.
Complications of the skin and ears are among the most common reasons for veterinary office visits here at Clarke County Animal Hospital in southwest Alabama. The skin is considered the largest organ in the body, and problems with it can leave your pet feeling uncomfortable and distressed. This can cause you, as an owner, to feel concerned about your pet's constant scratching, licking, and general unease.
Diagnostic tools such as radiography are vital to veterinary clinics for the simple reason that our pets can't talk to us and tell us what is wrong when they have a problem. Sometimes, an external exam does not provide all the information a veterinarian needs to determine the overall health of your pet.
No matter how careful we try to be with our pets in our daily lives, sometimes emergencies happen. Emergencies are things such as poisoning, getting hit by a car, or chocolate ingestion, to name but a few. If you feel that your pet needs emergency treatment, do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.

Critical: Quality
Absolutely the most pitiful clinic I have ever seen! Definitely does not take care of your pet the way they need to be taken care of, they have no care for you or your animal and show no type of care when you have to put your pet down. I would hate for anyone else to take there little sweet pets to this horrible place!

My dog got hit by a car and I asked could I bring him in they told me I needed to have a 200 deposit just so he could be looked at. I didn’t have a problem with providing the deposit, but the lady over the phone said they will not see my dog unless I had the money up front. I told her I live 10mins away and asked could I just drop my dog off and bring the money back, since I left my wallet at home. Who the world would think about money or anything in an emergency especially when you’re picking your dog up out the road! I just grab my keys and left. I will never in my go to this Vet! Thanks

Called told them my dog was sick, they told what time to be there, doctor asked questions about my baby, told us he would do blood, what his opinion was, gave 3 liquid medicine, said he would have blood back tomorrow and they would call with hopefully a plan to get her well. Nurse told us roughly the price of visit, really liked that!

I had my 11-12 year old Bandit’s teeth cleaned. His teeth were badly stained, I just expected a typical cleaning. WOW! Bandit come back to me with the teeth of a three year old! Very impressed. White, polished! I literally wish I could hire this veterinarian to clean MY TEETH! 100 satisfied

Was not thrilled to find out a 275$ procedure with all the fees and extra added stuff that should be included with the procedure was actually 500$. Continuous patient monitoring is only when they are open. Not when they are closed which is not disclosed especially for surgery of animals this is nescesary in my opinion. They had my cat overnight and she came home and ate more in an hour than she at before she got hurt in 2 days. They claimed they offered her food. I would beg to differ. My cat has licked her bowl clean. And has never done that unless she is starving. Which was only the first couple

I took my 12 year old German short haired pointer to this vet after spending thousands of dollars on both our dogs their. My dtr dog liver was damage by bravecto. He was in pain and my young dtr bravely decided she didn't want him to suffer. So we Dr sellers to euthanize him . My first problem was when he ordered this dog pain medication with Tylenol in it. A third grader could tell you you do not give dogs Tylenol and this medication is still with me and will be given to the proper authorities. My second problem he took our dog in front of my dtr and dumped him in a trash bag before he ever even
