We appreciate Oregon wheat farmers and Camas Country Mill for their high quality products. We are grateful to our local community for their continued support, and our hard-working bakery staff for their dedication. We would not be where we are without you. More than 30 years ago, The Bread Stop Bakery opened as a pizzeria and cafe in Eugene.
Because of our delicious food, demand quickly grew for more Bread Stop products, and we opened a production facility to help us supply the Eugene community with our delicious breads as a wholesale bakery. Over the years, our production and distribution continued to grow as more and more people became Bread Stop fans.

I have been buying Bread Stop Honey whole wheat bread every week for more than two years. I loved how the perfect balance of wholesomeness and flavor. Now it’s become overly sweet and lost the original nuttiness- it’s lighter in color, as well. Less whole wheat flour and more white flour? More sugar? At any rate, it’s no longer my go to bread. So sad☹️

Yesterday (7/27) I was grabbing a quick snake at my favorite Independent Grocery Store in Salem - Lifesource Natural Foods and wanted to try a new bread that would be the foundation of my morning toast with peanut butter.
I selected the Bread Stop's Whole Wheat Sourdough Bread and am delighted with my choice. I cannot stop toasting another slice on this Sunday morning and applying all sorts of yummy topping combinations. Crunchy and Super Tasty! Highly Recommended. *****Ten Stars*****

Update:
I started buying these again. I couldn't help myself. The onion poppyseed are my favorite. I just purchase the ones that are newer now, since they do not use preservatives and there is a chance of them going bad faster than other brands. I'd rather not have preservatives and just eat them sooner than having questionable additives in my food. I bought these at Fred Meyer previously and I went back and told them about my issue and they gave me the next bag of bagels free! It's great product and great customer service that gets a customer to come back after they've stopped

We just tried some of your Organic Whole Wheat Sourdough bread from Nature's Grocery in Bend. It is AMAZING! You've managed to not only make a moist, well-textured loaf of whole wheat, (which is a challenge in itself,) but it also has a good, strong sourdough kick. It makes great sandwich bread and when it's toasted ... let's just say, it's hard not to eat the whole loaf.

I purchased a loaf of The Bread Stop Challah bread from Fred Meyer in Portland and was VERY disappointed. The bread had three dead fruit flies on it and tasted like it was a month old (yes I still tried it since it was late and didn't want to go back to the grocery store!). I really try to support local businesses so I would give them another try, but this was pretty bad.
