Andy took ownership of the Home Care Assistance Denver office in 2018, after a successful twenty-year plus career in technology sales and physician recruiting. Andy grew up in Michigan and moved to Denver in 2002. Andy is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). He currently resides in the Washington Park area in Denver and loves spend time with his two kids and dog.
Home Care Assistance caregivers are the core of the home care experience. They are carefully selected to deliver the highest quality of care and must demonstrate compassion, professionalism and dedication to elderly seniors. However, unless caregivers are highly trained and educated, compassion and commitment alone are not enough to deliver exceptional care.

My Dad was at home in Hospice for 4 months. During that time we had Home Care Assistance looking after both my Mom and Dad - both about to turn 90. Everyone at Home Care was so wonderful to both my Mom and Dad and cared for them like they were their own parents. I cannot say enough good things about all of them: Alicia, Angela and Jamie all were immensely helpful and caring and anyone could tell that this organization employs people who genuinely care. I used Home Care of Denver when my mother who was my fathers care taker suddenly passed away. With COVID requirements at the time I would not have been able to visit my Dad. Home Care was able to find excellent staff within a couple of days and start providing in home care for my father. They listened to our needs and Dad really liked the staff. Without fail the office called once a week to check in with us and make sure they were providing the service we desired.
I would recommend them to anybody who is in need of in home service! Andrew and his team were awesome.

This team is awesome! Everyone we worked with really got to know my mom and became allies in her independence. Even when our schedule was hard to accommodate; through COVID, the holidays and all the rest, we always had a smiling face at the door when there needed to be. If I ever have the need again, Home Care Assistance will be my first choice.

Recently my Company Now In Need Consulting and Services has had the opportunity to partner with Andy Ratana, the owner of Home Care Assistance Denver. Personally, I was impressed with Andy's hands on approach, and his ability to staff a 24-hour client within a few days noticed with quality care. Furthermore, my client shared with me that she has been quite pleased with both the agency and caregivers. She went on to share that she has been receiving 24-hour care for the last month without any interruption of care.
