PSLZ was originally founded in Plymouth, Michigan in 1961 as Post, Smythe, Lutz and Ziel, LLP, and during 2020, the firm moved to a new location in Livonia, MI. It has been our mission since inception to provide our clients with the best in accounting, auditing, tax compliance and business planning services.
Rana M. Emmons is the Audit Partner and Managing Director at PSLZ. She has over 30 years of diversified accounting, auditing and management consulting experience. Specializes in local units of government. Involving municipal issues such as, financing, rating agency interviews, tax increment financing authorities (TIFA/LDFA/DDA), and more.
Kaitlin joined PSLZ in 2012. She specializes in small business accounting and tax preparation (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership and Non-Profit Organizations), as well as individual income tax preparation. Tax compliance and return preparation for individuals and small businesses (C-corp, S-corp, Partnership and Non-Profit Organizations).

I worked with an accountant from this firm. There was no email communication and no response for our phone call. Later he asked us to provide some information which should be answered by professional accountant. I asked one question through email, he answered " you want to do the tax your self ? " We had to withdraw our engagement and wasted 3 weeks due to his unprofessionalism.
