Villa Homes was founded in 2013 by Emigdio Villanueva Jr., and his sons Emigdio Villanueva III, and David Villanueva. After watching and helping their father since they were young boys David and Emigdio knew they wanted to follow in their fathers foot steps and create a construction company of their own.
With their father's help they started Villa Homes with one goal in mind, to provide affordable luxury homes in the Rio Grande Valley. Wish we had a better experience as first time home owners. Project manager gave us different dates for projected finish. The process took about 11 months, we had to pay for an extension fee to the mortgage company, plus other bank fees with South Texas Bank. They did a horrible paint job on our French doors (doors don't close properly,too) even after they went back in, they used the wrong color, same goes for the island, wrong shade when they went back for touch ups. There are speckles of white paint throughout the floor of the house, very annoying. Back door blinds latch broke. Paint on the fixtures

In my opinion, If I had to describe RGV villa homes with one word it would be, disappointment. My house was promised in 6 months and as of today, we are on month 9. At this rate I could have made a baby and he/she would have arrived before my house. Never in a million years, would I accept the mediocre work that they were/are trying to turn into me, especially for the price they are charging me. It has been a headache from day one. Don't believe the hype. Don't fall for the pictures. The devil is in the details and that is one thing they pass over. They lack quality craftsmanship. They do not
