We offer the personal attention you would expect from a small town, family business-because that's what we are! Our treatments include early preventive care for children, traditional metal braces, clear braces and Invisalign. We're excited to announce the addition of "goopless" digital impressions with the iTero Intraoral Scanner!

While I was undergoing orthodontic treatment as a child, the receptionist at my orthodontic office was always so happy, I remember thinking she must really love her job--and now I realize why! I enjoy building relationships with our patients and their families and being a part of this great community.
We're happy you're considering treatment at Loucks & Buren Orthodontics! We understand how important it is to feel comfortable with your orthodontic team. Our practice provides a warm, inviting, family friendly atmosphere where our focus is to put you at ease.
Clinical Excellence -- Dr. Loucks and Dr. Buren are both Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (a distinction held by only 1 in 3 orthodontists in the country) and limit their practice solely to orthodontic care.We strive to produce outstanding smiles. Being an orthodontist is truly the most amazing job in the world! I love that our patients allow us to become a part of their lives and really get to know them. Since we first meet many of our patients as young children, we have the unique opportunity to watch them grow up over the years and blossom into wonderful young adults with healthy, beautiful smiles!
The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) was founded in 1929. It is the oldest and most prestigious specialty board in dentistry. The ABO's aim is to elevate the standards of the practice of orthodontia, to familiarize the public with its aim and ideals, and to protect the public against irresponsible and unqualified practitioners.
Our greatest goal is to give you the healthy, beautiful smile you've always wanted. We understand that choosing to receive orthodontic care is a big decision, and we're here to answer any questions you may have along the way. Your initial visit to our office is an opportunity to get to know you!
We will take a medical/dental history and either Dr. Loucks or Dr. Buren will do a complimentary clinical examination (just looking at your teeth; nothing will hurt!).If your initial appointment is in our Newton office, we will also take digital photographs of your face and teeth. The doctor will determine if there are any conditions that orthodontics can address and whether you are ready to begin treatment.
