Cardiac Rehabilitation at United Hospital Center (UHC) is a nationally certified program through the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). Cardiac Rehab nurses, physicians, dieticians, and other health care providers are available to help you improve your activity tolerance and modify your risk factors for heart disease so that you can live a healthy lifestyle, both at home and at work.
Each patient works toward these goals at his or her pace and according to individual needs. Your physician must recommend Cardiac Rehab and must send an order for you to begin the program. Once the order is received, a staff nurse will contact you to schedule an orientation session. Do not hesitate to ask your physician about the benefits of Cardiac Rehab and when you can get started.

I have been to this hospital numerous times over the course of 5 years. Not once has any of the doctors been helpful. There are some nurses that are decent and a handful probably more knowledgeable than the doctors there themselves. That s hospital is horrid in so many ways. It will probably be the death of me and this hospital as well as Ruby was definitely the reason my significant other passed at 43.

Not at all impressed . My husband spent yesterday on liquid only diet. At 9:00 pm he went to nothing ,no water nothing he was scheduled for 10:10 am surgery had to be at the hospital at 8:55. Doctor came in to see him before surgery at 10:00 in his street cloths. My husband was to be his third procedure. So shouldn't he have already been here before 10 They finally take him back. After I had to approach them because my husband was in the process of leaving without having his surgery.

I was just released from here. Was very weary about going to a strange hospital that WASNT in Florida. The staff was were impeccable on how they took care of their patients. One thing that I didn't like how can a College educated Dr can put down hospitals in other states especially Florida. Im still breathing cause of them. I was going to call her out on it but I stayed quiet cause I got the bad news of my life. I have pneumonia in my lungs along with covid.

I was referred to Dr. Marc Costa for procedure. He told me I would have to have a negative covid test result before he could do it. I asked why I had to be tested if I have no symptoms? He said it's hospital policy. However, I had out patient surgery 3 weeks ago at UHC and did not have to get a COVID test of any kind. If someone is involved in a terrible accident and requires emergency surgery to save them will UHC turn them away and let them die because they don't have a negative covid test? Why do they not require you to be test for eboli, or other diseases that have a death rate that is higher

Took hours for me to even get back in a room. Then I waited in a room for over an hour and a half to even see the registry people. After that they just ran a bunch of Tests and told me what I already knew (I have a kidney stone) then they referred me to a different hospital. I won’t be going back to this place. I was in the hospital from 4pm up until like 11:00pm. Also the doctors and nurses were every rude. The only person who was kind was the nurse who gave me meds for my pain. That nurse was the only good thing about my whole visit. On top of all of that, they also had over 15 positive COVID

The visit started horribly but became better the longer I was there. I dropped the wife off at the ER for her water breaking super early and wasn't allowed to accompany her. This wasn't relayed to me politely, and I was told to "just go wait in your car until she calls you " before I even had a chance to ask where she was. Once I was given permission to join her, the front desk asked me multiple times where she was. Giving the floor number, the only information for her location I had, was obviously not what they wanted but they wouldn't ask for more details. After getting tired of the circular

I was hospitalized from Monday Night until Friday afternoon. I was never put into a gown, my bed was never changed. I felt as I was very much alone, as I had to ring my bell constantly to someone to come and change my IV. It was the worst experience I have been through at UHC. I was being housed, not being cared for. They were very short staffed and the care or lack thereof, really suffered. I will hopefully go to Ruby next time, if I need care. I have lost ALL confidence in UHC. Never again, I hope.

If having a miscarriage don't go here. Don't care my mom waited over 4 hrs 1 night then no straight answers. Sent home bleeding and in pain. Told come back next day well she did and set there for over a hour while people that came in after her went in before her of course she left. Cause you don't feel like setting there forever 2 days in a row especially when hurting and bleeding and not feeling good
