Staff was very nice. The food was boring and there wasn't much of a choice. Very "local" establishment. Liked th safety protocols with wearing gloves at the buffet.

Best southern food out there. It's worth the drive from wherever you're coming from. Along with the buffet of southern foods they have a full menu and seafood. Everything tastes delicious.

Good food served from menu or from the extensive buffet. Many tasty selections of home-made flavored Southern cooking and house-prepared BBQ sauces. Very homey and welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. Bring your appetite for a fun family-style meal!

We were really excited to try this place after reading the reviews and seeing the amount of traffic in the parking lot... Sadly, we ended up disappointed... It was busy when we walked in so we sat at the edge of a dirty table and gave the server our drink order thinking surely it would be tidy when we returned from the buffet, to our amazement no one bothered to take care of it (including the tip that was left) during our entire visit... Gloves are required at the buffet however wearing them the entire time is recommended as everything in the table caddy is pretty dirty... Food was OK but not good

This place was DELISH! The food, service and prices were great. The fried foods were not greasy at all. The steamed shrimp was yummy and the waitress kept our glasses full.

Big portions. We got takeout. Food pretty good. Pork barbecue better than fried chicken, when we went. Potato salad was very good. Good sweet tea. Great staff!

The buffet food is delicious and especially the BBQ but stay away from the seafood dishes from the menu - mostly fried breading and extremely SALTY. Not worth $15 for the very small portion 2 protein meal that does not include a salad. Quiet atmosphere and friendly service. STICK WITH THE BUFFET.

We were on our way to Myrtle Beach. And saw this place called hog heaven. We had had barbecue at another place the day before and it was absolutely terrible. So I said we're going into this place to see what's going on with this barbecue. And it was worth the stop. Every bit of the food was absolutely amazing. And the barbecue was out of this world. It's such a quaint little place. The customer service was exceptional. They were very attentive to all needs. You can even order catering sized meals. I know I'm definitely going back to Hog Heaven. I had just finished up a round of golf over at Heritage with a buddy of mine, and we were both hungry after chasing balls all over the course. I had a craving for BBQ so I suggested this place while we were on the 10th hole, which meant we had 7 more holes to go before we could eat. When we arrived, the parking lot was packed, but surprisingly, it wasn't that busy inside. We seated ourselves, per the instructions on the wall, and were served our drinks. A favorite of locals and travelers alike, Hog Heaven is a great option if you are famished or a have a healthy appetite. The star of the show is their fried chicken, with their crispy skin and juicy meat. Another favorite is their all you can eat shrimp. I enjoyed the mashed potatoes with gravy, Mac and cheese and BBQ rice. The service was friendly and accommodating and the restaurant was clean.

Great atmosphere. All the waitresses and servers are very prompt and professional. The most important the cooking is great southern food and seafood such a crab legs oysters etc...It's one of my favorite places to go eat that's quite and no rowdy shenanigans going on. The owner is a great guy and makes sure everything is as it should be.

Amazingly delicious BBQ! Normally, we come here for the buffet which is all you can eat for cheap. With the pandemic, we decided to get it to go and got a great fix of our favorite BBQ in Murrells Inlet. We got a to go plate for around $9 where I got BBQ pork, Mac and cheese, fries, green beans, and a roll. It was all so good and very filling. The staff was accommodating and let us get our favorite BBQ. Cant wait to go in person again soon!!

Went today for the oyster roast before the season ended. Awesome oysters: large, salty, clean. Cooked to perfection.

Great food and atmosphere. I had the all you can eat steamed Oysters which was worth the money. Our waitress' name was VJ. She was awesome. We never went needing anything. Highly recommend!!!

I grew up in the heart of South Carolina living off mustard base bbq, so this vinegar based bbq is not for me. The pull pork is cooked well but it is covered in the sauce. The hushpuppies were burnt and flavorless. the hash and rice is horrible. Hash In the midlands is red and loaded with flavor. Hash I had in the low country is dark brown and is just not as good. The Mac and cheese is decent, the rolls are wonder bread. I wish they at least bought the Hawaiian rolls if you're going to feed me store bought bread. Honestly, I recommend real SC bbq. Stopped in on a Tuesday at noon and definitely had a great lunch!! It was a buffet which I was not expecting that but the also have a menu. The fried chicken was delicious! Pulled pork also very good! Several kinds of potatoes and fresh broccoli great food and definitely will go back! Our waitress was very attentive and polite wish I could remember her name.... but she had a lot of tables and was on top of her game filling tea and taking empty plates right away. The buffet was 8.50 for lunch bill for 2 with tea was 22$ and some change +tip

Hog heaven offers a buffet, which pretty much includes fried chicken (very good), pulled pork (excellent) a few potato and veggie options and a couple deserts with beverage. For the price it's really good like 8.50, would like to have had better rolls for the pork and maybe an extra near option, but I still recommend for sure. It's a hole in the wall but it's clean and great SC food, a must go if you're on Pawley's Island.

This is a MUST place to dine if you're anywhere near Pawleys Island!! For $8.15 per person, you get all you can eat BBQ and Southern side dishes! The side dishes are amongst the BEST we've had on this trip. The fried chicken is THE BEST. It is perfectly crisp and melts in your mouth. The pulled pork is tender and full of flavor! Authentic homestyle southern food. Down-to-earth humble establishment. Simple. Backyard BBQ atmosphere. If you're looking for something fancy, this isn't it. I spotted a few las cucarachas, totally harmless. You've been warned.

Hadn't had the good fortune to est here in a while. It was our first stop on the way to our beach house tonight. Wow...sooo good! Honestly, I could not find a single reason for anything less than 5 star. Fried chicken, amazing!! Pulled pork ,mac and cheese are to die for. Had no room left after that, but somehow found space for some of the home made banana pudding. At just over $10 for the buffet, this place can't be beat!!

Tried the buffet. Best fried chicken I've ever had! BBQ pork had a bit too much of a vinegar base for my taste. I was disappointed there were no ribs on the buffet. Slaw was great and I enjoyed the chocolate pudding for dessert. Did I mention the fried chicken melted in my mouth?
