Ace Towing was doing so well with growing, George made the decision to add more trucks and his first heavy-duty trucks. With the way business was growing, George was able to purchase his former owner "Chuck's 24-Hour Towing" in 2001. Fast Forward to almost 25 years a lot has changed, as we all noticed.
State law requires drivers approaching a stationary emergency vehicle or a recovery or repair vehicle, including tow trucks, to slow down and vacate the lane next to the stopped vehicle, if they are able. If drivers are not able to move over, they are required to slow down and be prepared to stop. As some may have seen or heard about the slow down and move over law or have even participated in meetings that speak about this law.
As the years continue to go on, we never know what the dealers are coming out with next for vehicles. We like to take every vehicle seriously as we are trained and certified to perform a simple job from tow to a door unlock, jump start, winching to even recovery from a basic model to an electric vehicle and even your exotic cars.
As a towing company we offer a variety of fleet to help with getting the job done safely and in a timely matter, but with each call there are questions that the customers ask and we are glad to provide that answer to the best of our ability. Why do 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles need to be dollied?

While price gouging may not be illegal in ND, it is most definitely UNETHICAL & poor business, in EVERY state. I called Ace to get the amount to release a family members vehicle, and was quoted OVER $800!! $800+???? That almost FOUR TIMES the average/normal fee - it was definitely 4x the amount they charged my friend Sue 2 weeks prior. Unethical. Immoral. And I truly hope they made enough price gouging everyone to last a long time, because that's probably the last local business they'll get for awhile, they'll have to wait for some unsuspecting tourists who don't know
