Carrie Carpunky Photography is turning 10 in 2020! What a perfect time for you to come join our family! This journey got its start in a small home studio in 2010 & has grown leaps & bounds since then. After spending an amazing 5 years housed inside of the historic (and haunted!) Milton Schoolhouse in Alton, the studio finally outgrew the space & moved out into the current studio located in beautiful downtown Alton, Illinois.

As a mom and a wife, I know how important it is to capture your family as you all grow & change. This passion turned business, was grown out of the sheer love of being a mommy to my daughter. As she strived to meet milestones, photography became more & more important as a way to document her life, so I didn't forget one second.
I would love to work 1:1 with you to help you elevate your newborn images. My mentoring sessions are 2 days full of babies, business, posing & editing. I will share my secret to the perfect creamy baby skin & how to tighten up those poses to perfection. Both days will be hands on instruction, so bring your camera & laptop & be ready to learn! : I cannot wait to help you take your newborn photography to the next level!
I love photographing newborns! Those sweet little sleepy smiles, the sweet little fingers & toes, and the amazing little tufts of hair are just a few of my favorite parts of new babes. I suggest newborn photos to be captured in the first 5-14 days. Yes, it is a little hectic in those first few weeks, but those little sweeties change fast.
Pregnancy is such an amazing time for a family. The excitement and anticipation of a new little baby, preparing the nursery, washing all of those sweet little outfits, & making sure to get every little detail perfect. Women are just glowing & beautiful during pregnancy and that is why every mom needs that time to show off that sweet little baby bump.
I adore photographing families. Our kids grow up too fast. No one will deny it. I want to capture all the stages, the sassy toddler, the preteen & all of the stages in-between. Your family changes quickly so don't miss on capturing any part of it. Your family session needs to be a representation of your families interests & personalities, so we can do indoors or out, weather permitting.
