Pride & Joy Childcare was established in 1987 and has remained committed to quality care and overall excellence for more than a quarter of a century. Pride & Joy Childcare is a daycare center affiliated with the Florida Association of Child Care Management and requires all staff members to earn a Child Development Associate Credential and complete more than 10 hours of training.
Pride & Joy Childcare's after school and child care services are perfect for youngsters who need a place to stay between the time school lets out for the day and their parents or grandparents get home from work. We offer after school care for children of all ages. Those who visit us after school can relax, work on some homework, or have a snack before heading home for the night.
Child care services at Pride & Joy Childcare focus on learning, development, and a lot of play time. Our students interact with other children of a same age and learn with others at a similar stage of development. Our daily activities and lessons help provide educational and cognitive learning benefits, as well as an opportunity for social interaction that will go a long way towards shaping the way your children will behave around others.
Pride & Joy Childcare's summer program curriculum combines lessons from Let's Be With The Letter People - Letter Recognition and Character Development, the Peabody Picture Vocabulary, and the Dial 3 testing program. These lessons focus on teaching math, science, art, and motor skills training.
Students will also get the chance to enjoy several field trips in our summer program, including visits to the library, zoo, post office, and several other activities minutes away from Pride & Joy Childcare's Lake City facility.When the weather is nice, we try to get our students outside with picnics and trips to local parks.

Wish i could do zero stars. I walked in and asked if they had space the woman i spoke yo was very polite. But she asked if the kids i had with me were the kids i was wandering for. I said some of them. And from behind me i hear "thats only some of them" so whrn the owner cane out to talk i simply said nevermind. Ur staff are way to rude for me to have my kids here. And i told her about the comments made and tho she was polite. She didnt seem to care. I had just took in fostercare kids and needed to find a close plave for them. And that was soooo rude. Couldnt believe this was coming from somebody
