I went to get a haircut from Courtney for the first time. The cut turned out good and the place was clean. Professionalism was lacking. When I told her what I wanted she said "oh my!" Clearly disliking it. Then proceeded to tell me that it would make my hair stringy. I was about to just leave and I think she could tell. She told me that she could do something similar that would work with my hair. The appointment was awkward after that. She later told me that another stylist wanted this cut but that no one would give it to her.

The salon is beautiful and I loved the sweet dog that roams around. Wonderful surprise. My stylist on the other hand, was immature and spoke only about herself, not letting me getting a word in edge wise. She did a good job on my color and highlights, but I really wanted more highlights but that was my fault for not saying anything.
My hair cut is okay, not great. I have had to cut my own bangs since my visit.
I will go back but have a different stylist. I was in the beauty and salon business for over 20 years. I know how to treat a client. Hopefully she will learn to listen as she matures.

Today I had my first visit to Hidalgo. Carli was amazing. She was friendly, and professional the whole time. I have really thick hair, and I can't tell you how many times I've had a stylist mess my hair up, but not Carli. She had me walking out of the salon looking and feeling beautiful in a hr. The salon itself was very clean, and had a very pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely be going back in the future.

I moved recently from College Station to Tatum and have been looking for a hair stylist. I read reviews and made an appointment on lin ; there was an open appointment for a Style and in smaller font under the word,style, was curl. I did want a style , so I booked drove 35 minutes for my haircut and after signing in, getting into the chair and discussing the cut I wanted was told there wasNo time because what’s shown on the website is what is open at the time slot. So I signed up for a curl style- who knew! The. Stylist thought I should have know that. Guess I’ll find a salon eventually- my

Three days ago I called this salon during normal business hours and got a voicemail saying they were busy with other customers. I left a message with what I needed and my phone number. Just in case there was an issue with their voicemail, I used the “Contact Us” on their website and sent my information along with the service I needed. I included the fact that I had also left a voicemail. There was no return call or email whatsoever. Very unprofessional in my opinion as a business owner myself.

I used kailee and she is extremely amazing I haven't felt beautiful in a while and she made all my confidence come back staff is super friendly and I will be coming back and making this my permanent hair salon thank yall for being professional. Kind always making conversation I was scared at first because I don't know anything around here I'm from Louisiana and by far this place is the best I have ever been to I totally recommend going here

I have not had my hair cut since before Covid hit- so over a year. My layers had grown out, my ends were ragged. I tried trimming them myself but they still looked weak and thin. I made the appointment on-line with Sydney. She has long hair and was able to keep my length, comply with my desire to use the CurlyGirl method, get rid of the shagginess and make my hair look good again. Thanks Sydney!
