Engineering designed four petroleum storage terminals consisting of fifteen 100,000-barrel tanks in the Northeast. Terminals typically want to store as much as they safely can, and the municipalities they reside in want to strictly control development. After researching the governing Codes, we measured the existing sites and prepared layouts of tankfields for the clients and the towns to approve.
U.N.I. services include undertaking field investigations, analyzing existing protocols, conducting detailed studies, and auditing for compliance with regulatory programs. We'll follow through with recommendations for modifications to existing guides, generate new procedures for full scale compliance, and design new facilities to meet all applicable regulatory requirements.

Engineering, Inc. offers owners and operators of petroleum, chemical and municipal storage facilities a storage tank inspection service. The management team for this division of U.N.I. Engineering is comprised of professional engineers, senior NDE Level II engineers, API-653 Certified Tank Inspectors, and Pennsylvania DER Certified Installers/Inspectors.

This small company makes use of some high tech, cutting edge 3D laser scanning tools for reality capture; specializing in Refining facilities. The talented engineers and designers are able to use the captured point cloud data to deliver highly accurate piping designs, equipment arrangements, model reviews and tank analysis. It's a great team to work with on projects.
