We try our best to do things a little differently here. We want to make sure that our patients are the most well-informed, best educated patients around. We have a passion for teaching people about their eyes and their visual system, and we think that translates to better overall care. Simply put, a knowledgeable patient is in the best position to make the medical and optical decisions that affect their daily activities.
We want to empower you to that end. Our eyeglass frames are all manufactured by independent companies. You won't find designer-branded frames here; you will find excellent quality glasses with great style at a fantastic price. We partner with manufacturers and labs that we feel good about working with and we're proud to feature them and support them.

Dr. Miller was born and raised right here in Hutchinson. After graduating from Central Christian High School and the University of Kansas, he managed the Dutch Kitchen Restaurant, which was owned by his family from 1980 to 2007. He attended Indiana University School of Optometry and then opened his solo practice, Miller Vision Care, in Buhler in 2005.
Dr. Miller provides quality comprehensive eye exams for virtually all types of patients. If you need a standard eye exam with the goal of getting the best vision possible in your glasses, we can do that. If you have diabetes, hypertension, or are taking a medication that poses a risk to your vision, we can perform the appropriate tests and send the results to your primary care doctor.
We do eyeglasses differently here at Visionaries. It seems like no matter where you shop, you'll find the same brand name eyeglass frames. There's nothing inherently wrong with these frames, either in quality or style. In fact, many people like having the logo of a licensed designer on their eyewear.
