My daughter and I love this place. The owner is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. She takes the time to ensure that my daughter's pointe shoes fit properly and she'll gladly special order specific brands of pointe or character shoes that will give my daughter the best fit. When it comes to leotards, she has a wide variety and always has something in stock that she specifically chose with my daughter in mind - and my daughter has loved every one of them. Liz knows the likes of her customers. The shop itself is adorable. She carries lots of quaint gift items for the dancer as well as hair accessories

Poor service. We went there to get a pair of tap shoes for my daughter. There were already customers there when we got in. The person who was there initially acknowledged us and told us she would be right with us. Then it was as if she did not see us there waiting and just chatted. It was a small store and only us and the existing customers she was waiting on. There were zero effort trying to accommodate. We left after standing around waiting for 15 minutes. Another similar experience a few days before as well. Will never return even though they are closer to us.

Poor quality shoes for high prices. The owner was condescending and blamed the dance studio for the problems my shoes caused. The metal plates in the tap shoes scraped up the dance floor and the owner still would believe my word that the shoes were defective. You could visually see the chunck of floor in my shoe and hear the panel jiggling. Do not waste your time or money here.

AWFUL QUALITY SHOES. I purchased tap shoes from here for a here a month ago, used them in a beginner tap class FOUR times (45 min classes) and the tap plates were loose already. My dance teacher took at look at my shoes and was appalled at how poor quality they were (even though I paid 45 dollars). (The brand is SoDanca)
The soles in the shoes are so thin that the metal tap plates stick through and cause immense discomfort when dancing. The plates also don't cover the entire bottom of the shoe so dancing is difficult. It's also IMPOSSIBLE to tighten the plates and once they're loose
