A: Yes! Black LAB, was founded in 2010, as LA's first mixology company for events. We offer an array of fun mixology activation like the Spirit Tasting, the Boozy Snow Cone Bar, or a Mixology 101 Class. Check out all of our experiences HERE! A: The Full Bar comes with 6 liquor options (vodka, gin, rum, tequila, bourbon, scotch) and the Limited Bar comes with 3 liquor options (vodka, tequila, bourbon).

Joel was a breeze to work with - he listened to our needs and delivered beyond our expectations. We threw an engagement party for my brother in law at the parents' house. Before the event, Joel developed two specialty cocktails for the party. We altered the specs a couple times because he wanted to help me stay in budget. I have no doubt about his ability to handle larger functions: weddings, corporate events - but let me tell you, Joel's got a company / staff that can do it all, even a 60-guests backyard party with one big diverse family!

Hire them immediately if you like good cocktails, friendly service and beyond professionalism!! I used Black Lab Ventures for my wedding on June 26, 2016. The staff and drinks were amazing!! I worked with Joel to come up with 3 signature cocktails that were all delicious! My guests were raving about how unique and tasty the drinks were. Joel and his team were easy to work, responding to emails quickly and working with me to come up with drink selections that would work for us. Black Lab Ventures created the most buzz of all our vendors amongst our guests! Joel worked with us to create the perfect cocktail menu for our guests- everyone raved about the drinks (and even asked for the recipes)! Both Heather and Joel were so easy to work with, and the day of the event the staff were friendly and professional! We are so happy we went with Black Lab Ventures for our wedding!

The best mixology around! Black Lab Ventures made my 40th the best party ever. Professional, reliable, efficient, and highly qualified are only a few things that describe their work. You can not go wrong in hiring these guys! Honestly, one of the highlights of my wedding. I am EXTREMELY picky. Spent a ridiculous amount on my wedding and they delivered in the most budget conscious way. Delivered is an understatement. They surpassed all of my demands/expectations and then some. We even got to experience an amazing cocktail tasting to select the drinks for our wedding. Joel and Heather were one of my absolute favorite vendors and made wedding planning (almost) a breeze! They are a great service to have come to a party. They make drink menus to fit your needs/wants and come with a staff that cleans up, making your own clean up a lot easier. They bring their own glassware, table set up, mixers etc. They are no hassle and the drinks really were excellent. Definitely on the pricey side but worth it if you want to impress your guests!
