If you are looking, don't choose here.
My mother stayed here for a month along with 2 other places, this was easily the worst of the 3. Her bedroom floor was sticky, no one wanted to help, couldn't get any information from anyone. Even just trying to get in was a pain, doors are locked and it could take 20 minutes just to get someone to answer the door.
She also stayed at VibraLife nearby and it was infinitely better, the other is out of state, but also much nicer. I can recommend VibraLife, but have only experienced these 2 in Katy.

Please, please, do NOT put your love one in this facility!!
I used to work here back in June, it was my first time ever working as a CNA. The things I saw that workers did was not OK! I would tell the person that's in charge of all of us what I've been seeing. It was like the things I was telling her did not matter. I'm going to saying some of the things that I saw, but I will not be giving any resident's name out.. When it was my second day of training there was a resident that was screaming help and none of the nurses helped him or checked up on him. I couldn't do anything

I have to agree with the recent post. This facility is not the same since my loved one has moved here since April 2019. No one answers the phone, no one is ever available. The nurse director just talks around my questions. They stopped our monthly meetings. There are other ways we could discuss how my love one is doing. Its hard enough that I can't see them every day and I know the staff is not doing everything they are suppose to do. I still come and look through windows. I hate being ignored, especially the amount of money I am paying. I desperately need Covid-19 to end so I can see and check

I agree with another post. In the past few months a lot has changed. Always new people there now, management changed and it seems they went downhill, they don’t return calls, very difficult to get a hold of anyone there. Sharilyn was the best! We miss her so much. She always went out of her way to help and always returned calls and texts. You guys need to bring the “old” Heritage Park of Katy back. The place I know would have gotten a 5 months ago

I wish I could tell you what a great place this was because it actually was. Until a few weeks ago, this place was a place that felt like family - perfect, no, there are defintely a few staff members that aren't the greatest. Wow, what a difference a few key staff can make. They have a new Nursing Director and a new Business Lady who could not care less about anyone there. The standard answer now is I don't know and the attitude is I don't care. Sherlyn may not have known the answer to something I asked, but she darn sure would find out and tell me. If any of us had an issue, either her or Amanda

My family member has been in many facilities including the finest, top notch, state of the art facilities yet he has always complained and been miserable. When he moved to Heritage Park 6 months ago he had no life in him and we thought he was bed ridden. He refused to get out of bed, get a shower and he refused a TV, a radio and room decor. The staff at this facility does not accept NO for an answer when they know the person is capable of doing what is requested. He is no longer bed ridden and gets out of the room for most meals, he also now has a radio, a TV and room decor. This speaks MUCH louder

My experience at Katy Heritage has been very positive. It is never an easy decision to have to place your mother in a nursing facility. But after she fell and was found unresponsive all alone in her home in Nov 2017..... I had to place her somewhere. A friend and I visited 10 facilities over a 2 day period and I decided on Heritage. My mom has been there 4 months and so far everything has been great. My mom seems to be happier and is taken care of and she is closer to where I live so that is a plus. No nursing facility is perfect but I think they are trying to make this a great place. It is clean

Heritage Park use to be a great place to work the old administrator had her faults but she was fair. The administrator that they have now is horrible all she do is keep up drama at work. She had my friend fired today by her staffer somebody with no degree or education nothing but a criminal record. We thought that the vice president was going to be able to save us but he cant. All he care about is being the boss & His mother-in-law all she care about is making a dollar. Today is my last day working at this place. If you thinking about taking your love one to this place please DON'T the care of

I have a friend that is a former employee and a friend of a former resident that was there. I thought about taking my loved one there. The tour was not a tour. I couldn't see a room as none was ready. The lady who toured me was not helpful and talked very fast and loud. Too many new people. The turn around with employees is amazingly crazy. The atmosphere among the employees is very horrible. There is no Human Resources to recognize the staff that are doing a good job which is a very little. The human resources is the son-in-law of the owner and he is also VP of Operations. He has an employee, Sherilyn

I had my mother in this facility not long after they opened. I had high hopes it would be a good facility for her. It appeared to be clean and well staffed. But, soon the realization came that that was far from the truth. The bathing was an issue. And, staffing was an issue and management was an issue. I moved my mother right away. That was the best choice I could have made. And, having selected a new facility where the Administrator is there!!! and involved in the facility is always a plus. I would not recommend this place for anyone. But, my experience was 3 years ago. Hopefully, things have
