Chiropractic adjustment and treatments are for helping the body to correct problems, but also for regular care. Physical Medicine Modalities and Therapeutic Procedures is a science-based profession that takes a holistic approach to a patient's health and well-being. This includes the patient's general lifestyle. In part, Physical Medicine Modalities specifically refers to any physical agent that is applied to produce therapeutic change to biologic tissues.
Chiropractic massage therapy is a very important part of the treatment AZ Chiropractic offers. It is defined as "the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to enhance function, aid in the healing process, and promote relaxation and well-being." Many insurance companies have coverage for massage under the physical therapy benefits as long as a Chiropractor or Osteaopath prescribes it.
Physical Medicine of Arizona* offers family medicine services that complement those offered at AZ Chiropractic. Dr. Mary Reker, naturopathic doctor, uses the principles of naturopathic medicine to identify and treat the root cause of health conditions and restore natural health. Our Nurse Practitioner, Oscar Veloria, is able to provide care from a traditional point of view, which would otherwise not be available in our office.

I had been going here for about 2 yrs and the doctors seem to be fine when they let the newly licensed chiropractor Cody smith adjust me. Ended up in the hospital due to a very rough and bad adjustment. No one bothered to call me to see if I was ok or how I was doing. I was out of work for 2 weeks.I was treated badly after that. Apparently I was just a number. Since then I have had nerve damage and major neck pain. Afraid to ever be adjusted again. Watch out!

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Hurst and his team for 2 years. Each time we go we get an hour massage and adjustment.
They worked with our insurance and communicate with us frequently to let us know the services that we have available.
The massage therapists are skilled and work to target problem areas. Scheduling is a breeze and they often make sure that appointments are made out for multiple visits.

Dr Hirst is amazing! I was referred by my friend who didn't have anything but good things to say...and now I'm right there with her!
I've been going to a chiropractor for years and just moved into the area this January, became pregnant and super sick, so I haven't seen a chiropractor in months. I'm just so relieved and grateful that I was able to find Dr. Hirst and his staff because the amount of back and neck pain was becoming unbearable!! I was able to walk out with an air of lightness because of the amount of pressure that was released.

Dr. Roach is the only chiropractor who has the perfect mix of finesse and force. While most doctors can crack my neck 1/2 way, some can't even get it to budge. They just make it hurt more. However, Dr. Roach is the ONLY doctor who can thoroughly "crack" my neck each and every time.
I'm a tough case b/c I was in a swimming accident (neck/back) and a major interstate auto accident (neck/shoulder) within a 6 mos time frame about 7 years ago. I visited this office twice this week for a bone tune-up. It is conveniently located directly across the street from Mercy Hospital on Val Vista Dr. I am visiting Gilbert for family reasons and don't have access to my inversion table, etc. which is back at home. I wasn't dealing with accidental injury or any type of emergency care. I had aches and throbs here and there that were keeping me up at night and I knew my body needed some adjustment. I looked online for a nearby chiropractic office and decided to give them a try.

They were super nice inside the store. I had an appointment for 4 and I called the store and said I was running late and wouldn't get there until 4:15. Nicole told me it would be no problem I would get right in. I sat there for 35 minutes and had to leave because I had another appointment to be at. I wish I would have gotten to see the chiropractor to get help with my back. But it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

I've been going to Dr. Roach almost every week for over a year now and I have zero plans of switching chiropractors, ever. He's given me back flexibility and the ability to walk around without my upper back freezing and going numb. Which was incredibly uncomfortable and painful. I can't express how grateful I am to find chiropractor who has been able to give my back the level of support and treatment it needs to be better long-term. Dr. Roach is the best! I've been to different chiropractors and what sets him apart is he takes the time to listen to you and customize your treatment. If something's not working one week he'll switch it up the next. And, the massage therapist, Kim, has gifted hands that hit all the right spots! Gabby at the front desk is always helpful and friendly. It's a great office all around!

I went here to get an adjustment due to neck pain and although the Dr. was great, the billing was a nightmare and a real pain in the neck! 8 months after I went to the dr. I got a call from the billing staff saying that my bill was never paid... when I asked if they submitted to my insurance they sent to the wrong insurance and now since it's an older bill my correct insurance won't pay it since its more than 3 months old! Don't go here unless you have time to follow up on their billing and make sure that the bill gets paid...
