Sweet Thyme Kitchen

I have ordered a few family meals from Sweet Thyme Kitchen. The owners and workers have always been super sweet and accommodating, even with last minute orders…not to mention the meals are always made fresh and are absolutely delicious, even my picky children enjoy every meal! Their level of cleanliness in their shop and care for the quality of their goods is immeasurable. We love Sweet Thyme Kitchen and are so very grateful that they are in our community. We look forward to many more years to come with their business and will continue to utilize them for our bakery and family to-go meal needs

The food is decent but a couple of times the owner gets snippy with customers. If she’s getting overwhelmed with the cooking in the baking and the managing, she can hire extra help. Remember it was not that long ago restaurants closed down because of Covid, maybe don’t treat customers like they they should act grateful their allowed to bring their business.

We had delicious fresh quiche, blueberry bread pudding muffins, chocolate chip cookies, pear salad, tomato basil soup, and coffee. We highly recommend this quaint brunch place near downtown.

When I asked Misty at Sweet Thyme if we could make a cinnamon roll cake for my son's groom's cake, her reply was: "I haven’t made one of these, but I don’t see why I couldn’t." YES! And make it she did! Misty was a delight to communicate with, and the cake was ready on time, beautiful to look at and DELICIOUS! Misty, thank you for taking one more thing off of this Mother of the Groom's plate! I highly recommend Misty at Sweet Thyme when you need something done well and on time and to be delicious and beautiful.

Probably the best brunch spot in Abilene. More than a coffee shop, but less than a diner; If you're looking for a quick breakfast and coffee, this is the place to go. Rustic yet lively, it's a little quiche-slice of heaven!

Had lunch for the first time here the other day and it was so cute inside! My food was great and the staff was so friendly. Will definitely be returning soon!

I highly recommend Sweet Thyme Kitchen!! I eat there at least once or twice a week. I love how they have daily specials because I always enjoy trying something new. There isn’t one thing on their menu that I… don’t enjoy. I appreciate the variety in their menu because it gives me excitement wondering “oooo what do I want today??”. Not only is their food delicious, but their customer service is amazing! They started to get used to seeing me there and made an effort to get to know me. My name is pretty unique, and they made sure to pronounce it AND spell it correctly

One of the best places in town. Friendly atmosphere and the desserts are to die for. Everything's homemade.... just love the pretzel rolls. Go once and you'll go back for more.

I had the frittata first which was delicious and then had to go for this giant cinnamon roll. The people here are so great and the dining areas are well decorated and cozy. I will definitely be a return customer here!

Great food and great service if you haven’t checked them out your missing it!

They have a light menu well suited to the majority of women who frequent here and anyone trying not to be a complete overweight slob. The menu is full of light salads, hearty soups, small delicious desserts, quiches, and frittatas. Everything they have is well-suited to a hot summer afternoon. A really delicious break from the average Fair available in Abilene.

Ummm good... The Poached Pear Salad, the Italian Sausage quiche/frittata not sure but tastes delish... The ham sandwich (THICK slices of ham), the Blueberry Bread Pudding (fresh blueberries), the Mile High Chocolate Chip Cookie ALL WERE AMAZING!!! The cinnamon rolls came out while were there and they looked so scrumptious the made our mouths water. Next time yes the will be a next time.😋

Delicious lunch options! The special was chicken salad on a homemade pretzel roll, and it was excellent. Their poached pear salad was also great. I took a scone home for breakfast, and I plan to go back to try more of their breakfast options. Cute atmosphere and very fast service.

I had the 75 day dry aged beef and it was not great. The other diners had their non dry aged selection of steaks and they were all fantastic. The Mac and cheese was very good but the mashed potatoes augraten was the best. Again, the dry aged was tough and a bit earthy tasting... Ok it was a lot like dirt. Everything else was fantastic.

Abilene never failed to surprise me! in downtown area at 1246 N 6 St. there this place called sweet thyme kitchen i was so amazed with this place, seems like i’m stepping back on my grandma’s kitchen!!! i tried their cinnamon roll and i can’t forget it’s taste and made a legit mark and shaken my hippocampus!!!! place pretty clean and cozy and people were welcoming and friendly. i am coming back for sure and hey 5 star is not enough let me make it 10!
