Services
Anyone can inspect a house, but not just anyone can do it well. Would you trust your home to someone who doesn't have the experience and training to identify defects and potential hazards in your new home? As professional home inspectors, we have the knowledge and expertise to provide you with a thorough and professional, non-intrusive, visual inspection of your home, from roof to foundation.
We can inspect your home or business for signs of damage from wood-destroying pests. Catching the problem early enough can prevent infestations and insect colonies from being built underground. Scheduling a pest control expert to inspect your home or business for signs of wood-destroying pest activity and/or damage is an investment.
One in five homes in the United States has a septic system but you'd be surprised how many people don't actually know what they are. A septic system is a system set up to remove the waste from your house. In working condition, it takes the water and waste from the washer, sinks, showers, and toilets and filters that water.
Radon is an odorless, tasteless, invisible gas that may be present in your home and putting you at risk without you knowing. When you breathe air containing radon over a prolonged period of time, you are at higher risk of developing lung cancer. In fact, radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires that all public water suppliers regularly test for coliform bacteria and deliver water that meets the EPA standards. There is no requirement to have private water wells, springs or other sources tested, it is up to the individual homeowner. For public water supplies, the frequency of testing depends on the size of the population served.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
Mr. Hibbs and his staff were very professional, quick to respond to estimate and also completed the work as proposed. We had a very tough crawlspace encapsulation project and it turned out great! Southern WV Services also communicated very well with answers to our questions, scheduling and updates.
