Rainwater Psychology
We heal in connection. I believe in people's ability to overcome many things. We have a tendency to become stronger when we feel safe. I'm talking about being able to look at feelings, thoughts, and behaviors without worrying about judgment. Looking at yourself with curiosity is highly healthy. Most of the time, we will find reasons why you feel stuck in whatever is causing you pain.

This is how millions and I have changed and become more. I see myself as a navigator. You are the captain. You decide where you want to go. I may have a few good maps to help you get there. It's your boat. You decide how fast or slow. Let me help you build a sturdy ship. So that no matter what stormy seas you find yourself in, you know how to rely on the resources within you.
Services
I started working in the clinical field of psychology in 1998, working with victims, first responders, and others exposed to the tragedy of the Murrah Building bombing in Oklahoma City. I worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor while working on my doctorate. I have co-authored several journal articles on PTSD in children.
Where do we learn how to have great romantic relationships? No where, unless we had amazing parents that problem solved in front of us and resolved issues with mutual respect and adaptation. Anyone? Not many. Hundreds of thousands have tried before you and winging it usually doesn't work. Let me work with you and provide a few communication tools, fair fighting skills, and the ability to find ways to both get your needs met.

Hands down the most gifted counselor/therapist I've experienced. Rain has deep, refreshing wells of intelligence and empathy that make him a true gift to his clients, and an easy recommendation to others.

I went to several before I found the perfect fit. His way of counseling helped me place my grief where I could cope as I heal.
