I'm older and have never had a suit that fit well nor looked especially good on me. We were scheduled to attend a big wedding in DC so I began looking into getting a suit for the event. I have never had a shopping experience quite like Seattle Thread Company. Getting a custom made suit as well as shirt was one of the most amazing experience. Yakov and Konstantin's attention to all details made the whole process really easy. Everything fit perfect and the fabric is amazing. I walked in to STC while walking around downtown. Nice store, but the service was horrible. The salesman walked out from behind and said hello, but then never followed up with how can I help you? Instead he stood there to watch me and my wife like we were going to steal something. This older white gentlemen walked in and the salesman quickly said, hi sir, how can I help you? This is unacceptable. For that reason, I will not come back to your shop. The climax of this story is that EVERYONE is a customer and deserves to be treated as such.

Absolutely fantastic place. I went in to get a business professional suit and settled on a dark blue virgin wool piece. I box and lift weights and as such have unique body dimensions, with shoulders the size on a man much taller. My legs are also bigger than normal. This has always made finding a suit difficult. Yakov, the tailor was extremely knowledgable and helpful in the tailoring process. I now have a suit that fits like a suit should and have gotten 2 job offers this week. When I walk into an interview I'm always the most professionally dressed and the tailoring and style of this suit

Went there today for the first time. Loved the store and the clothes. I'm 48 years old and they sell clothes that are classy and stylish without looking like I'm trying to pretend like I'm in my 20's anymore. Clothes tend to be European styled and fit more snugly than American clothes, which I like. Free alterations included with all purchases. Enjoyed interacting with the owner, Yakov. I will definitely come back. As one reviewer said, the prices aren't cheap but they are reasonable.

They carry a number of brands that I have not seen elsewhere, including clothing and accessories from local companies. I bought an awesome pair of Rodd and Gunn jeans there recently and receive compliments about them all of the time. Last weekend I bought a pair of OluKai casual shoes, a pair of SeaVees slip ons, and a sweatshirt by BYDFAULT (a Redmond company). Very happy with everything! Don't miss this gem next time you are

This is now my favorite clothing store as a 31-year-old guy who finally can afford to dress a little nicer. Prices for the quality are very reasonable, and the quality is very high and well-curated. I purchased my favorite sweater there, along with a great Italian jacket and some shirts. I intend to come back and refresh most of my wardrobe this season.

I recently visited STC to check out their off-the rack and made to measure suits. The proprietors are attentive and knowledgeable about current and classic fashions, and they were helpful without being pushy. The fashions they carry in the store are modern without being edgy, and everything looks very high quality and well constructed. I ordered two made to measure suits from them for a very reasonable price and will be returning early next week to pick them up. I'll update my review once I see how the suits turn out.

Really great store for men with an amazing selection. Extremely reasonable prices and the owners are very personable and nice. I also found out they do alterations for women, which is pretty cool. I love the fact that they can do their own alterations in the store, so everything will fit him perfectly. I'm so glad they've opened!!!

Excellent customer service and selection. The owner was as the last reviewer said very funny. We were immediately greeted. While in the store a middle aged couple came in and the owner recognized them and greeted them accordingly. Everything the man was wearing was from STC and his wife was very pleased as was he. The prices were high but reasonable for the very unique yet classic clothing styles there. Got some great shirts that I've already received compliments on. I especially enjoyed the decor and the free samples of lotions and creams. I plan on going back!

Word of advice for STC. Never ever ever judge anyone by the way they look and whether or not you think they are going to buy based on their look. I went into STC after having looked at their website. The items are quality and my son and husband would love the shoes and clothing. I went in to purchase some "just because" gifts. I like anyone else likes to be acknowledged when I walk into a store. And I like anyone else likes to be asked if I'm looking for anything in particular while in a store. I don't care to be hovered over, but I also don't like to be "watched.
